So far, so good. Charges up my HP Pro Book 450 G8 Laptop. I've only used it stationary without moving around with it attached, so the jack contact is pretty decent. There is slight play, when I wiggle it back and forth, but the charging doesn't cut on and off, so that is good . The Brick stays pretty cool to warm with no signs of getting hot or over heating yet. Time will tell, but for the price, it seems to work pretty well as an interim/backup solution.

The adaptor that came with my HP laptop was defective. Because of that, the laptop suffered from poor performance, delays, stalls, and a number of glitches. I wouldn't have figured that a power cord could be responsible for that. But I started to suspect the power cord after I saw that my laptop was having a tough time keeping the battery charged, so I bought this product. And now the battery stays full charged, and there are no longer any glitches, snags, stalls, etc., with my laptop. Who would have thought?

I had bought this charger because of the amount of reviews and its ratings but unfortunately, mine would not work. I tried it on two different laptops, so its not a problem of my laptop. this might not be the same outcome for everyone. maybe i just got an unlucky piece but i am dissatisfied and i dont plan to re buy and risk it from here again.
