This grooming vacuum works surprisingly well for shedding and hair trimming. The suction is strong yet quiet, and my dog quickly got used to it. It’s easy to use, with multiple attachments for different needs. The clippers work well, and the vacuum keeps everything mess-free. While a de-shedding brush would be a great addition, this is still an excellent tool for home grooming. Definitely worth it for pet owners dealing with heavy shedding!

Play Video This is an absolutely life changing device. When I brought home a Newfoundland puppy last year, I thought I was prepared for her fur. I had owned a double coated German shepherd with a similar texture previously, and I figured it couldn’t be that much different. I was so wrong. My roomba runs constantly, I have to manually vacuum daily, she gets groomed bi-monthly and I still have tumble weeds of fur showing up every time I turn around. I knew I needed to brush her daily to stay on top of it but she is so large and it creates such a mess it was a difficult chore to stay disciplined with. Enter this dog vac. First of all- she loves it. She hears it turn on and she comes right over for her brushing. It’s not loud, quieter than my blow dryer, but she’s a big fan of the feeling of the brush attachment. It’s curved, so I can brush against or with the fur to really help get loose stuff out of her undercoat. The tank is smaller than I would like for a dog of her size but it’s very easy to empty, and if I brush her daily I don’t have to worry about emptying during her grooming session. Only afterwards. If I skip a few days then she fills up a couple tanks. The clipper attachment is nice. I used it to trim her toes and feet to help fight the ice clumps this winter and keep my floors a little drier. I don’t know that the clippers would be great for something really thick like poodle hair, they don’t seem very sharp, but for what I use them for they’re perfect. The couch brush is pretty meh but since I didn’t buy this for that purpose in mind I don’t care one bit. This is a nice, quiet little vacuum, with a great aesthetic appearance. Incredibly easy to use right out of the box. My dog loves it, I love it, and it’s helped a ton in my fight against the fur clumps. I would (and already have) recommend this to my friends, and if you’re here reading reviews because you’re worried about whether or not it will work on a bear-sized ultra shedder, fear not! It works!

I have 2 adult German Shepherds. Shedding has been a constant battle. I received the vacuum last night. Used it on both dogs and it worked great. Very easy to use. I started at the lowest power level first as this was the first time using a vacuum to groom my dogs. Within a minute, I was able to increase the power. The dogs had absolute no problem with the noise level. This morning when I brush the dogs, my female exposed her stomach so I could brush her all over which is not her normal response to being brush. Usually she tries to get away. Both dogs seem to enjoy being brushed. The vacuum work well. Very happy with the hair removal and the fact that there is no mess on the floor and on me. The length of the hose works well. A longer electrical cord would have been nice but that's an easy fix. I'm happy with my purchase.

Play Video This is a very handy dandy gadget that is a great vacuum for keeping up with dogs that shed a lot. I was looking for an alternative to traditional dog brushing, as it always leaves me and my floor covered in dog hair. This vacuum does the trick! Here are my pros/cons — PROS: captures hair without it flying all around, low-level noise that doesn’t bother my pups, effective suction of hair from brush to tube, easy disposal canister, multiple power levels for suction (though I’ve only used the default one). CONS: A longer power cord would be nice. a longer tube would be helpful so I could maneuver around my dog more easily. The brush is fine & does its job, but maybe not as good at getting to undercoat of fur. It’s not super large, but I did have to find a place to conveniently store it. For reference, my dogs are both older and the breeds are golden retriever and Great Pyrenees mix. My Pyr is skittish, but this vacuum surprisingly doesn’t bother her at all. I think she finds it mostly soothing. My takeaway— the pros far outweigh my cons and I’m glad I purchased it. Is it an absolute must-have? No. I mean, every pet owner has a brush. But it keeps me and my floors nearly fur-free when I brush them with this and that’s a huge win for me. I’ve attached video to show its use. (I’m trying to do it left handed while I film but you get the idea.)
