This is day one mind you! But after allowing the 24hr upright instruction I plugged it in and filled with water. Unit started making ice in about 5 minutes and didn’t stop until it hit the ice bin full electronic eye! Unit is very quiet and ice is great and considering the size of ice it doesn’t seem to melt all that fast? Maybe ok for mixed drinks, margaritas definitely.

the ice maker was well packed, got it in a good condition. I only tested it for a couple days and it is working nicely at this point. I had a couple commercial ones in the past and they were kind of bulky but this one is great to put at home. Good for me that love a night drink at home everyday.
