This is now the 4th Ring we have purchased because we love the clear picture and reliability of the Ring. This device seems to get better and better. Our first ring is now 5 years old and we installed with screws and the rechargeable battery is removed, charged and replaced. (It is our favorite, for long lasting) the more recent Rings we purchased are installed without tools, the unit is charged as a whole. Super simple. Great picture at night, Sound is great, we talk clearly to visitors who are standing at our door. Connecting the Ring to our phones took minutes! The design is sleek and noticeable; we want people to notice the spinning light. it's a security device! ( a subscription is optional)

This is my first time using the Ring Device. We didn't think we really needed one since our neighborhood has always been very safe and quiet. But were convinced to get the newest model with a better field of view and sharper imagery at a 40% off price. After scanning the QR code and registering the unit, the instructions they provided were very easy to follow and made the installation super simple. After charging the battery with the supplied USB cord, I installed it by hard wiring it to our current doorbell so that the sound would be the same in the house. Again, super simple install and really good coverage area with great imagery. Love it!!

Pretty easy set up. Very user friendly. Good packaging, items seem very sturdy. I got two rechargeable door bells, and one indoor chime. Haven't decided on some set up options yet but all is functional. Also haven't gotten subscription for cloud service, haven't if I will. Night vision clarity is not as good as daylight but functional enough. Connection and communication seem pretty sound so far.

This is my second ring doorbell. The battery in this one is easier to swap out. The picture and voice quality are excellent. I love my Rings. I didn't get a battery low warning on this one, like I do on my other. But it did charge faster. Be aware it has to mount on a flat space. I ended up using double-sided Gorilla tape to mount this one. Works great - even in our below zero weather.

Knocked off one star as I had a problem with setup until I realized that my VPN was stopping it from setting up. Once I turned off the VPN, setup was easy. Seems like there should be a note of this in the instructions. Also, when I am on the VPN on my cell phone (always on VPN), sometimes I have to turn the VPN off before I can see the alerted video. Camera seems very responsive to motion. Much more so than my current security system. It notifies me of any vehicles that come into camera view. It even notices animals going through the view during the dark hours of night. With my current doorbell settings I got over 6 weeks of usage before needing to recharge that internal battery. Overall, pretty happy with the operation.

I had a Google Nest doorbell it was garbage compared to this. By the time you got a notification the person was long gone. The coverage is 1000 times better. I only pay for the $5per month plan. I do feel like the notifications are a bit slower than the deluxe plan that Ring came with for 30days. I can see the entire front yard from floor to sky.

Play Video Recently purchased the Ring Camera, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. The build quality is excellent, and the camera provides a clear, crisp view of the doorstep. Installation was a breeze — within minutes, I had it set up and paired with my phone. The calling bell feature is especially useful, as it allows me to see who is at the door and have a live conversation with them, even when I’m not home. It’s a game-changer for convenience and security as we can also setup the range/area for detection and eliminated unnecessary false warnings. Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly smart doorbell camera!

Great unit with a decent picture and plenty of setting adjustments to make it right for you. I do prefer the removable battery model, which is so convenient to recharge. I keep a second battery charged so there is virtually no down time and it’s a two minute job to change. As well. with a Ring solar charger, the battery changes only happen in winter for me as the sun is not on the doorbell then. I have a Basic subscription for the doorbell but I think the fact that if I wanted to add a home camera to the system I’d have to pay 3 times the cost for a Ring Plus subscription is simply outrageous. I’ve just got some TP-Link Tapo internal cameras instead, which I can view live and they have SD card for recording.

What a great product. Pictures to phone are so clear. Easy to set up and phone let's you know if people are near you door. Makes me feel a little bit safer.

Unfortunately I was unaware that you need to pay a yearly subscription for the ring doorbell to work properly.

We’ve had this installed for a little over two weeks and I love this product!!!! The App is so easy to use and is very secure. The camera itself is such a great quality, it’s small and discreet and looks aesthetically pleasing too.
