You don’t save more if you were to buy a 24 pack because the price is the same so you might aswell get these and use as needed. I did my research and the 8 pack costed more per battery. As far as quality goes this is my fourth time and third tire of Amazon basics battery. I hadn’t noticed any difference when compared to the big brands plus I saw a documentary many many years ago that said Duracell makes superstore batteries and the superstore ones were like a quarter of the cost so my gut tells me that these are made by one of the big brands. For me this is just used for an under the sink battery pack so the touch sensor works. I would also use them in a flashlight. But if you’re needing them for some kind of tactical use or in a harsh environment I think that would be the only time to look into buying what suits your needs for example Duracell has the 10 year expiry ones where as these are the standard 5 years. Also brands like Duracell and energizer might have either a lithium one or lithium based. I just know they offer a big variety and some are going to be much better than these for your needs but in the end you get what you pay for. All the ones I’ve purchased are for things like auto soap dispensers, remote controls, home general use things like that… I will be sticking to these. Only reason to ever get the expensive brands is if I need that 10 year Duracell guarantee for like a go bag or something. But right now I’m very happy with the entire variety of Amazon basics products including their batteries. 5 stars from me!
