Upon reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about the 99% but ordered to try out for myself. Upon using my own lab equipment I was very pleased to find that the product received was actually 99% isopropanol. At a 95% confidence factor I measured density at 0.7456 g/mL versus specification of 0.7812 g/mL at 25C. The difference of 0.0356 (about 4.56%) being due to evaporation effect during measurement. A bit puzzling was the label indicating storage temp lower limit of 0C (32F). Since 99% isopropanol freezes at -88C (-126.4F) I would have expected to see storage lower limit of -65F (-54C) compliant with global transport and storage limit. - GREAT VALUE for an excellent product.

Great product, works really well

My household seems to go through a case of ISO alcohol about 2 - 3x a year. Almost every time I go to order more, I look at the gallon sized jugs of it, but after doing the math, it's easier and cheaper to buy the individual 16oz bottles, and the quality is always on point too. I did it again today, but then ordered the Amazon Basics ISO like I always do. It's the best bang for your buck and I hope it works for you as well as it works for me :)

I mix this with lanolin to work my brass. However, this batch of 12 bottles had a poorly sealed bottle and about 1/2 of it leaked out. It was not mishandled in transit. All though, it had the unmistakable smell of alcohol and a wet corner on the box.
