These work great as bulbs for exterior light fixtures. As LED, they are cost effective and we just leave them on. Inside we have a couple lamps with them, so we don’t return to a dark house (set my mom up a few the same way). They don’t get hot either, so much better than standard light bulbs, plus they won’t yellow lamp shades etc. from heat over time.

I purchased these in April, 2021, over 3 years ago and put them in my outside light fixtures. They have been working, turning themselves on every night since. The sensors work just fine, no issues. The lights work just as well today as they did 3 years ago. Good buy!

These lights are outstanding thus far. It’s about 5:35 DST and they are burning brightly as needed. Plug and play without a fuss!

Personally, they're a little too bright for my taste. I wasn't sure how bright 60w equivalent was, and after seeing them on at night, I can say that I think I like less brightness and warmer colors. Despite this, for the price and for what they are, they are a good deal and work as advertised. They come on automatically when the sensor doesn't detect enough light. Perfect since my wife always forgets to turn off the lights in the morning when she leaves for work and we get home after it gets dark and come home to a dark house.

So I was using programmable light bulbs in my carport and back door and saw these and realized all I needed was a dusk to dawn bulb. These work great and dont have to worry about programming anything. Plenty bright.

This is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. My family always forgets to turn off the porch light so it often gets left on all day. I though I would give these a try. I was sure they would work for the lights by the garage door but wasn't sure about my covered entryway. It can stay a little dark and the big tree in the yard doesn't help. It works great. As soon as the sun comes up, off they go. It is also nice that they come on in the evening when I get home later than a thought and the lights were off. Win win all around. Defiantly would recommend especially with the price being so good.

Works well and turns on at dusk, however as advertised, it is not a dimmable bulb and it is very bright. If you are looking for a subtle soft glow on your front porch this IS NOT the bulb for you.

I have this bulb installed in a porch light. It does exactly what you expect of it - comes on a dusk and goes off at dawn. The only possible downside could be if the photo sensor ends up facing the wall when the bulb is screwed in - but even then, I would expect it to still work pretty well. You just have to make sure the sensor sees ambient light. But for the price, its a nice bulb and does what its supposed to do.

These automatic light bulbs are wonderful. So simple and if the power goes out they don’t have to be reset like the switch timers. No electrical installation just screw them in and the lights will come on at dusk and off at dawn. OR if for some reason you want to turn them on and off then just leave the switch off and turn the lights on when you need them. Soooo simple and worry free.

They work perfectly and give a warm comfortable light.

These work perfectly. The sensors face directly outwards once the bulb is fully screwed into the light fixture. The light is 5000 K so it is bright white and perfect for maximum light exposure. It is great for those long dark winter nights - especially when the time changes (which is coming up this weekend). This is definitely worth it. No need for a separate sensor between the lights and the fixture. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
