It's an extension cable, and it works. Right length, very sturdy. Definitely not cheap feeling at all. Good price as well. Can be a little tough to plug things in and out of it, but they definitely stay put when plugged in.

Always refer to the manufacturer specifications of your appliances for proper sizing. also this extension is NOT rated for outside, though many use it for that purpose, but complain about shortcomings. go figure!.
