I was needing to replace a couple of my surge protectors and power strips and decided to look for something with a longer cord. I've generally had good experiences with Amazon Basics branded items and was pleased to see this 6-outlet surge protecter power strip. It's 790 joules and has a durable 6-foot cord. I like that it comes in two colors. I opted for the black cord as it fits more with the design of my house. I like the LED indicator so I know that everything is working well. The rectangular shape makes it a little much if I want to take it with me somewhere, but it goes great in my house and looks pleasant. The pricing here is fantastic, the quality is top-notch, and I've been pleased with surge protection. I've had zero issues at all and am really quite pleased. There's no doubt that I will buy more in the future as I need them. This offers the perfect combination of quality and affordability. I definitely recommend.

This looks to be a sturdy surge protector, and I love that the cord is longer than the older surge protectors I have. All is hooked up and seems to be fine. My old surge protector in this room was blinking, so I switched to this new one today and tossed the old one. This new surge protector cord is longer, so now I will be able to also plug in the Dehumidifier when I move it to the bedroom. I may buy two more of these surge protectors, to replace the other two older ones in this house.
