My gsd/husky mix is a picky eater and has quite the refined palate. She absolutely loves this dry food, and I’m honestly impressed with how it has actually passed the test of time. For reference, I mix dry food with a rotation of wet food (or sometimes with Trader Joe’s unsalted sardines) + a beef crumble topper. She normally becomes bored easily with other dry food varieties. She is always excited for this dry food (she half hops and does a cute happy dance!) and likes to eat it plain (before I have the chance to mix with the wet food and topper). I also appreciate the high quality, price and cleaner ingredients (compared to many other dry food brands). I was once hesitant to try Amazon brand dog food, but I am so happy that I gave it a chance!

I see some people’s dogs have stomach issues. Mine who are prone to upset bowels. Have responded wonderfully to this food. I have used Acana for years. They have just gone up in price so high. So started looking for an alternative. As well the formula definitely changed. Shepherds would really not eat as well. Often food left behind. WAG definitely made them happy. They don’t care if it’s just kibble in the bowl. It will be eaten. Smell it pleasant and doesn’t leave the oily residue in the bin. Definitely dogs are fine. Vet says they look great keep it up. So far better prices for good food.

My new adopted dog doesn't eat her Purina One dog food very well. I have to put a topper on it to get her started. When the bag of wag dog food arrived, I opened it and a piece fell out on the floor and she immediately ate it and liked it. Even though she had eaten a small amount of other food already, I gave her a taste in her bowl and she gobbled it all down. Now, let's see how it works on her stomach. She has a sensitive stomach. I wish it came in several sizes. I like to keep my dog's food fresh and I don't like ordering large bags even though it is cost-effective. However, it's not cost-effective if it gets old in the dog doesn't like it. I do keep it in a plastic container and I don't want to have a large plastic container for my dog's food.

We switched to this from another brand due to itchy skin issues and my dogs love it! It’s helped there fur grow back in beautifully and by week 3 the itchy had very noticeably subsided, we are now at probably month 3 and rarely see them itch! If your looking for a great dog food that is easy on their stomachs and helps there skin and fur I definitely recommend!

The food I normally get for my dogs has been out of stock for two months, so I got this as it looked like a healthy alternative that would ship fast. However it looks like this food is for dogs on a diet. My Rottie has slimmed down, which wouldn't have been a big deal as he can get overweight pretty easily and ends up getting to the other dog's food when I'm not looking, however he's the most slim I've seen him now. However the reason why I'm particularly upset is because my Great Pyrenees just had a huge litter of puppies and needs to continuously eat to put back on some healthy weight and be making enough milk for her puppies. She eats so much a day but is pooping much more frequently, and can't seem to produce enough milk no matter what. She now goes and whines with her puppies as if she's sorry she can't do much. I have formula to give them, but beyond that she needs to put back on weight after birthing so many puppies, and she's been eating this food sometimes up to 5 times a day and is remaining slim, and with the evidence of my Rottie slimming down on this food, it looks like it's some kind of diet dog food. I really wish that would have been written in the product description somewhere as that created so many problems and concerns for me. Otherwise the dogs seemed to like the flavor and all, so I can't complain about the rest of the product and advertising, but otherwise I'm incredibly disappointed and concerned.

The dogs love it. We switched from proplan and they didn’t have any issues making the change. The convenience of having it delivered is worth it as it’s hard to go buy a bag of dog food and carry two babies around.

We used Wag before & our dog thrived on it. I don't know what happened with this bag but within days of opening this bag he has been lethargic, vomiting, had bad gas, & has urinated INSIDE the house as if he couldn't control it. He had previously only urinated in the house when we were gone longer than expected. All of this happened after the bag we ordered on March 30,2025. Looking at the reviews, it appears that Amazon should have been aware of the problems as the reviews mention similar symptoms as far back as December 2024 & could be longer. That's just where I stopped reading. We're currently cleaning his bowl & opening a bag of dog food from Publix. We will NOT be purchasing this brand again.

I've been trying to include fish products in my enior dog's diet. I was given a great deal on some high end kibble at a dealer booth at a local community event. Doggie loved it. Next. While searching for a more affordable alternative, I found Wag. Decent product at a cheaper price. Honestly, not my dog's top choice. If my dog was younger, and didn't have specific health requirements, I'd stick with Wag fore awhile. In the meantime I'm stepping up and paying more for my old girls nutritional support.
