I absolutely love the Amazon Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen, 2023)! The compact size makes it perfect for any space, whether it’s on my nightstand, kitchen counter, or desk. The screen is sharp, and the sound quality has been greatly improved compared to previous generations. Setting it up was a breeze, and it integrates seamlessly with Alexa. I use it to control my smart home devices, check the weather, set reminders, and even watch videos while cooking. The display is vibrant and makes video calls and photo slideshows enjoyable. The addition of improved processing speed is noticeable—it’s snappy and responsive to voice commands. It’s the perfect device for anyone who wants the functionality of Alexa with the added benefit of a screen. Highly recommend it for its features, performance, and price!

Since the Echo Spot in my bathroom was constantly losing the internet connection and had to be restarted, I decided to replace it with the Show 5 on my desk and buy this new version of the Show 5 for my desk. Admittedly, I don't use all of the available options since I don't need them. When I watch Prime Video it is on my TV, but you can watch movies on this device if you want to. You can connect with video calling if the people you want to connect to have the Alexa app or an Echo device with a screen. I, personally, don't know anyone that has these things that I would want to connect to. You can control compatible smart devices if you have them. I do use smart devices, but they are not Alexa enabled and controlled by other apps. The most dramatic difference for me is the color contrast and vivid colors of the screen - they are incredible. This version stays connected to the internet more consistently than the previous version and verbal response is much better. Although I have speakers for the older Show 5 I put in my bathroom, this newer version really doesn't need them unless you want booming sound. The base and quality of the sound is a huge improvement. Even though I don't use all of the available options for this Show 5, I do love the screen and sound quality, but the other options are available if you want to use them. This is a small screen but we love it we can use it with our ring cameras and play movies and music easily on it. It’s easy to use and has good picture quality and plays music loud for how small it is. It’s right next to our router so it’s very quick with notifications and playing music and videos

We bought this echo at an upgrade for our old one. I has a nice clear screen. I love that is displays the weather and time on the screen. The speaker is really nice and sounds better than the old one. Alexa works good for thr most part, but it doesn't always play music when I ask it to and then I have to connect to Bluetooth to play songs. Overall, it's a good quality product with a few hiccups.

I bought two Echo Show 5 devices. one for myself and the other one for friend. and it has been an amazing purchase. This product is truly innovative and offers so many features that are perfect for a modern home. What I love the most is using it while cooking. Its 5.5-inch display is perfect for watching shows, news, learning new recipes, and listening to music without missing a beat. The speaker quality is outstanding, with deep bass and clear voices that exceeded my expectations. you won’t find anything better at this price. One of the most useful features is the ability to control all your smart devices at home. I’ll update with pros and cons after 3 months of usages.

Upgraded from a regular echo to this in kitchen. Love it, especially having visual reminders of any timers set, being able to watch movies etc. only downside is no Netflix.
