I just got the new Echo Spot and I’m loving it! The design is sleek and modern, and it looks great on my nightstand. The display is the perfect size for showing the time, weather, and my calendar without being too bright or distracting at night. The sound quality is surprisingly good for such a compact device—clear vocals and just the right amount of bass for my bedroom. I use it to set alarms, control my smart lights, and even check in on my Ring doorbell. Alexa is responsive as ever, and the new interface feels smooth and intuitive. It’s a great upgrade if you want a smart alarm clock with a ton of features packed into a small, attractive package. Definitely recommend!

I have the large screen unit for our main portal but I needed something for our bedroom in order to have Alexa access there. This little unit is perfect as it gives you access to all Alexa has to offer when you’re away from the main unit and it’s small enough to be unobtrusive, blending in well with it’s surroundings. Plug it in and it easily connects, probably takes 3-4 minutes in order to get the unit working. It’s a great choice as an additional Alexa portal or even as a main one should you so desire. Great unit, I love it!

the Echo Spot Alarm Clock is sleek in design; really easy to pair with other Echo Devices and Blutooth devices. Setup was easy and Alarm clock settings had a lot of alarm tone options for free and some had celebrity voices, nature sounds, songs etc. I am getting older as we all are and I love having Alexa in the bedroom to make emergency phone calls. I also love that the face of the clock can be changed to include current date and weather temp. I can also opt to get a short weather report from Alexa after I cancel the alarm and am awake. Love the classic Echo sphere shape and access to all my music and skill sets. I also bought the holder made for this clock to have a charger and free up a electric cord. Great Quality product, price and size/color options.

Makes setting reminders and alarms relatively easy but some features are complicated and work better through the app. I like giving it (them) feedback on the nuances which make or break the user experience. The sound quality is good and the volume gets pretty loud. It is easy to set an alarm while in bed in the dark without getting up. Its easy to ask when the next alarm is set for, or to change it. Its easy to tell it to stop or change volume. I can easily tell it to set one or multiple alarms but it can be difficult to modify them. For example, "Alexa, set an alarm for 5am to play a train horn." It will set a 5am alarm but will rarely set up the sound. When trying to modify the new alarm it will usually tell me it doesn't understand or will set up additional alarms instead of modifying the alarm I wanted. If you set 2 alarms within 15 minutes apart the first alarm will not sound at all which must be due to a snooze overlap conflict and the I don't believe the second alarm sounded either. I woke up late 3 times due to it. I often ask questions it says it doesn't understand and can't help with, when Google can usually give you something.

So I love this product a lot I did order it on Friday and I just received it today. It didn't take me long to set up. I would say that it's a lot better than the regular echo dot. what I love about it is that you can see everything on the screen it tells you the time, it tells you the weather, tells you the day and date. The top is the same with the two volume buttons on each side and then the middle button is where you can mute it. To me it sounds a lot clearer and louder now if you set an alarm or if you have a notifications and it goes off you can tap the top and for the alarm it snoozes it and for the notification I'm sure it just snoozes it. You can change the face of the clock, you can change the color of the sun that's for the weather but it also tells you the degrees you can go into the Alexa app and play around cuz you can change the voice there's multiple voices you could do. You will need to update it as soon as you get it though. I would say it's a fun device it connects really fast the connectivity is great I would say right now it's not glitching so I don't feel like there's going to be any glitchiness in the future. what I love about it though is that it's a touch screen, you can change colors, you can change the clock face. You can actually see the time. Mess around in the app and there's lots of fun stuff that you could do. I would say I love it I did get mine on Black Friday so it was almost 50% off so I got mine for $44 so with that I got two of them one for me and one for my son and I think he loves it so with that being said even with the regular price I would say don't walk run and get one you will love it and if you're hesitating on getting one do not hesitate no more go get you one and you will not be disappointed

Takes a little getting used to compared to previous dot with clock. This is more streamlined and the display adjusts better than the other. The sound is great and works well with the app. Easy to set up

El diseño de este ultimo echo (spot) es increible, yo lo compre en blanco por el contraste del negro de la pantalla, pero estoy seguro que en los demás colores de igual manera se verá muy bonito. Hablando de funcionalidades: - Básicamente funciona de igual manera que cualquer otro echo/alexa, aunque puede variar una que otra cosa debido a la nueva pantalla integrada. - Las animaciones que se muestran en diferentes ocasiones (al pasar un minuto en el rejol, al poner musica, al crear una alarma, etc., etc.) son muy bonitas, puedes personalizar tanto el reloj con diferentes diseños (que probablemente con el tiempo se agreguen más) y con diferentes colores (magenta, violeta, verde aqua, azul, naranja y lima). - La pantalla es táctil/touch y por esto, puedes acceder a configuraciones rapidas dentro del mismo Echo Spot (para una configuración mas detallada, abre la app de Alexa), ya sea, cambiar el color y diseño del reloj, regular el brillo de la pantalla, bajar/subir volumen, etc., etc. Puntos malos: - El Echo llegó en una bolsa de carton con burbujas (al menos a mi y a varios más) siento que al ser un dispositivo electrónico, debería llegar al menos en una caja de cartón con mucha más protección - La pantalla no es un circulo como se podría pensar, es un rectangulo en el centro de toda la parte negra. Cuando está el brillo alto o al máximo, se notan los bordes de esta. De lo contrario, en espacios obscuros/no tan iluminados, no se nota para nada. Conclusión: Por el precio que esta en este momento a miembros Prime, es una excelente opción. Como se aprecia en las fotos, se nota mas grande que una Alexa con reloj (olvidé el nombre) pero no es tanto como para estorbar, el tamaño es ideal. valió mucho la pena por el simple hecho de ser mucho mas elegante, con mas funcionalidades y obviamente, mas nueva y actualizada. Seguramente con el tiempo se agreguen funcionalidades para facilitar muchas mas tareas. Compra esta Alexa si quieres tener un reloj digital, una bocina de buen sonido y volúmen y obviamente, una asistente para tus tareas :))) Gracias por llegar hasta aqui y espero haber aclarado la mayoria de dudas :))

I bought this clock for my bedside table and it’s perfect. It’s simplistic design with core Alexa features make this ideal for any room. I have been looking for a clock that would have a dim option for during those late/early hours so that the clock wouldn’t glow at night and this one is great. I set a time frame that I want to put my clock on sleep mode and the time changes to a dim red (so easy on the eyes if I wake up in the night). I also like that you can personalize the clock face (i.e. colours, weather, etc) to whatever suits your style. The speakers are also on par with other Alexa devices (clear, good treble/bass). I don’t have anything negative to say at this point. I did have a bit more trouble getting it set up, there were some pairing issues with the app but it eventually worked. Overall, I would buy this again for other bedrooms in my house.

Click to play video El modelo en sí, es muy vistoso, tiene acabados muy elegantes y de buen material, el sonido tiene una diferencia de 3 decibeles más en comparación con el echo dot 5ta., realmente no es mucha la diferencia, sin embargo se alcanzan a apreciar un poco más los bajos. La pantalla touch definitivamente le aporta mucho, se puede cambiar la apariencia del reloj, los niveles de brillo y control de música. El tamaño es un 30% más grande que el echo dot 5ta., supongo que es para compensar la ubicación de la bocina, debido al tamaño de la misma. El voltaje de uso en promedio es de 2.5 watts con brillo máximo...ya en modo música vol. 10, alcanza un promedio de 3.6 watts, lo cual ahorra bastante energía para la potencia que mantiene! El modo nocturno es conveniente si te molesta la luz de la pantalla por las noches, la pequeña desventaja es que esta no se puede apagar en su totalidad, pero realmente no es molesto, ya que la pantalla tiene tecnología de ahorro y baja luz. (Actualización, ya incluyeron el apagado de la pantalla, se agradece muchísimo) El mostrar las carátulas de las canciones es bastante bueno, sin embargo: no me agradó, que al reproducir música, las carátulas de las canciones se mantienen todo el tiempo. Solución: le tienes que dar la indicación: "Alexa, inicio" para que nuevamente muestre el reloj. Por lo que, si de alguna forma te interesa escuchar música y ver tu reloj al mismo tiempo desde una distancia de más de 2 mts. Será casi imposible visualizar el pequeñito reloj que aparece sobre las carátulas de la música...espero tengan alguna actualización a ese detalle. En general estoy muy contento, definitivamente vale la pena! Por mi parte yo le daría un 4.7 en general. Iré actualizando si descubro más detalles en pro o vs. Actualización: -Añadieron el apagado de pantalla (se agradece mucho!).

El diseño es muy bonito y la bocinas se escuchan bastante bien, tienen buenos graves, lo único que mejoraría es que como la pantalla no es oled, a veces se nota el espacio que realmente es pantalla y la parte que no es
