This is my first Amazon Essentials purchase and I was a little hesitant for moral reasons- but sadly Amazon’s methods of competition work and these camisoles were the best option I found in the colors I wanted. So these are good shirts but also I hate myself a little. That being said: Amazon suggested a size small, but after looking at the size chart and knowing I wanted a more form fitting silhouette I went with an extra small, which is often my usual size. (For reference, I am a 30C, so overall on the smaller side) This was the right choice for me. The shirt length was exactly what I was looking for in this world of cropped everything. The lightest color is slightly sheer, but the others don’t present any problems for me. All the colors seem true to photo and look good in real life. I do wish the fabric was softer. I have some sensory sensitivities and they don’t bother me, but they also aren’t as soft as I was hoping for. Perhaps after a few more washes they will break in a little, but as of right now, I wish they were considerable softer. That is a strict personal preference however, and I don’t think the average person would find them rough or uncomfortable. For anyone worried about straps breaking: I don’t know of any camisole or thin strapped shirt that doesn’t run that risk if you run it through a wash cycle. Amazon suggests hand washing, which is an option, but we all know we aren’t hand washing inexpensive tank tops from Amazon… So laundry bags are necessary. I recommend getting a lot of them and using them for anything that is strappy, lacy, or otherwise delicate. Bras, panties, camisoles, lingerie. I even use them for those little no-show liner socks so that they don’t get lost. Wash in laundry bags, with your bras and underwear, on delicate/hand wash cycles. That means low heat, low (or no) spin. Don’t use fabric softener (or use it infrequently and rinse well) because fabric softener will break down natural fabrics like cotton. Or hand wash (lol) TL;DR: good basic shirts in a variety of colors, morally questionable, hand wash or use a laundry bag on delicate. Edited: I’ve now had these for over two years (and have ordered additional colors) - I’ve experienced no straps breaking on any of the camisoles after countless wears and washes! On some of my most often worn shirts (we are talking sometimes every week sometimes multiple times per week) there has been some slight loss of elasticity in the straps and overall fabric of one. Some of the lighter colors have faded a bit or gotten a little dingy due to the multiple washes (and my slight laziness around color sorting tbh - I just don’t have that many white or light clothes!). I would say that the fabric has softened a bit, but the structure of the shirt means that it’s never going to be that soft Pima cotton or airy/draping bamboo that I basically want everything to feel like and that’s mostly a me problem. Overall over two years later I want to add that I still recommend these shirts, I have personally bought more and yes I still feel guilty about it. I can also say that because there was some (likely pandemic related) color and sizing issues when I bought my second and third sets of these that I can say that for someone who is 5’4”, a 28D/30C, and has a 25-26 inch waist/size two and is therefore a bit on the petite side I definitely prefer the extra small size, especially as I tend to wear them underneath other shirts often. Smalls do fit well however and if you are also in between sizes and unsure I recommend choosing based on fit preference. Because they are stretchy I can also wear a medium, though it’s definitely a looser look and I wouldn’t wear it under another top. A size large is definitely ill-fitting, gapping around the chest and hanging loosely around the ribs, waist, and hips. Because it was such a mess (duplicate colors and an assorted array of sizing) and during such a hectic time I did keep the large and will occasionally wear it tied up with an elastic to make it fit (its the only dark burgundy one that I received and the main color I was looking for!)

I honestly didn’t expect to like these but was hopeful they would work out and… they did! These are thicker than I thought they would be and fit well. I purchased larger than my actual size because that makes them easier to get on with a shoulder injury. The straps are adjustable but not as much as I’d expected, like say with a bra strap. It may be that I got a larger size than my true size that this is less adjustable than I’d like, but they still fit and feel fine as they are. The only thing they lack for the the buxom ladies is a shelf bra. If they had included this they would be truly perfect! For the money these are a good buy and so I ordered a second set to wear around the house and under garments without a bra to obscure nips for modesty on colder weather days. They also make a great cool night top for sleeping in the summertime. I hope they continue making these and consider adding a shelf bra (for better support) or make another version/option with a shelf bra in the future.

The Amazon Essentials Women's Slim-Fit Camisoles are a great staple for any wardrobe. The slim fit is flattering and they layer well under other clothing. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and the pack of four offers excellent value. I’m giving them four stars because, while they are well-made, the sizing can be a bit inconsistent, and they might shrink slightly after washing. Overall, they’re a solid choice for everyday wear.

My favorite thing about these camis is that it isn't anything different than a normal cotton cami I had come to expect, which is turning out to be quite rare these days. The size was correct according to the size chart, the material is not super thin also not crazy thick, It's cotton so it doesn't ride up it stays well, And it's not too long or too short. I wear these under my work shirts everyday so it's a important staple in my life and strangely enough I was having a very hard time finding a classic well manufactured inexpensive Cami that I feel like used to be widely available. I tried several before this and they all had issues of one kind or another, these are so good actually I'm going to order another pack before anything changes or they're not available Highly recommend for a medium weight cotton basic cami

These are well made for the price and I basically live in these year round . The black ones are not see through and I would recommend these . They have washed and dried well with almost daily use . I hate wearing bras if I don’t have to . These are a great under shirt in fall and winter as well as wearing to top shorts in hot weather . I used to buy these tops with a built in bra shelf however with on line shopping I didn’t want the hassle of having to return them if they were to lose or too tight with the self bra. They are fine and I will reorder the black in bulk again. I bought them in colors however they are to see through for lighter colors to wear without a bra. So I will reorder the basic black again . They have held up well and are adjustable . I am petite with broad shoulders and a wider rib cage . So it has been hard to find cotton tops like these that actually fit well enough . No shrinkage . No cold bleeding and my cottage has very hard water with a very old old sears washer . These tops have still held up well and no major fading at all . I would recommend these .

I typically wear an extra small. I am 5 foot three and weigh 115 pounds. I ordered the size small and these run so small it barely fits me. And the tank top is super thick. Like you will sweat if you wear it in the summer. it doesn’t come down long enough either. It just reached my pant line. If you’re going to order these, you definitely should size up. If I sized up, these would be great in the winter. Just can’t do it in the summer heat.

These are actually better quality than I expected. I have had these for several months now. They are holding up well following many turns in the washer and dryer. I would definitely purchase these again, if needed. I am vertically challenged. Most cammies fit me like a tunic that comes a few inches below my bum and I have to hem them up to not have bulges showing under my jeans, leggings, etc. These were pleasantly shorter and stop just at the mid to lower behind area. It is so refreshing to find clothing made with some consideration for us shorter individuals.
