I bought the Amazon Fire Tablet as a gift for my child and it's been fantastic! The screen is bright and engaging, ideal for his learning apps and cartoons. The battery lasts all day, which is great for both schoolwork and playtime. Plus, the parental controls give me peace of mind by keeping his online experiences safe and appropriate. Highly recommend for parents looking for a durable, kid-friendly tablet!

I purchased this tablet for my toddler for Christmas and I am so happy that I did! My little guy goes to early learning preschool and he was a little behind other kids his age when it came to colors, letters, matching, etc.. I was not sure about purchasing a tablet since he’s a toddler I didn’t want him to constantly be on it but this tablet has made it incredibly easy to control that! I have an app on my phone that controls the amount of screen time he gets, which apps he can have, he can send requests to me for apps if he wants something, and I can monitor his activities and what all he’s doing on it. With the Amazon kids subscription it has so much content already on it and it’s all quality learning apps which I am thankful for! As a bonus this subscription is literally free for an entire year!! With the content Amazon provides along with Lucas and friends apps my son has learned sorting, colors, new words, tracing letters, matching, I could go on and on in less than two weeks time! I’m am genuinely amazed at how well he learned with these apps! We also use ABC mouse which is awesome in itself! He gets to use it for about 1-2 hrs a day and it’s plenty of time for him. The tablet itself works great! We haven’t had any issues with it at all. It comes in a cute little case that protects and I also order the anti-glare screen protector which I do believe has saved it a few times! It only needs to charge like once a week and it’s good to go! The screen is the perfect size and very clear! It has zero issues loading content and thank god because toddlers are so impatient lol All in all if your debating on whether to purchase this for your child DO IT!!! Only issue I have is I wish it had more space but that’s a simple fix with a SD card.. even without it the preloaded content is massive! 10/10 I would recommend parents to use it! It beats watching cartoons I guess lol

It's an ok tablet. I will give 5 stars for durability. This thing has been thrown, stepped on, dropped, and spilled on and it continued to live on. The first version we got of this tablet was wonderful. Battery life would last all day. Storage is obviously not that great and after just a few apps, it's full and you need to add an SD card. Speakers are very loud! I like that it has a headphone jack. My son dropped the one we got him into water and the speakers died. Amazon did replace, but it was a bit of a hassle and they did charge us $20 still even though it was supposed to be a no hassle replacement policy. The "upgraded" version they sent us isn't really an upgrade. In fact, the battery lasts about half as long. My son used to play the same apps all day long but now the table is dead by noon every day (we went from a 13 hour battery life to about a 5 hour battery life). It's also pretty slow to charge compared to the last one. It's just as durable as the first, but the battery life being so much shorter has us looking at other options. Plus the content can be pretty limited compared to Android tablets. It's a good first tablet, especially if you have a rough and tumble toddler like I do. That being said, it's a tablet that can be outgrown pretty quickly and can be pretty limited to Amazon only content. I bought Baby Einstein directly through Amazon to put on there and it was still a struggle to get it onto the actual tablet. We also wanted a tablet with AAC capabilities which this tablet seems to be lacking unless you want to pay quite a bit of money for the Amazon specific program. Android has more options for free or cheap AAC functions.

I got it when it was at sale price. Glad I did. I don’t know what I was expecting but it’s quite smaller than expected. Otherwise it’s perfect for my 3yo birthday. I do intend to get a screen protector just in case. I set it up last night and put it back in the box. It was giving me a hard time setting up at first but I let it fully charge and tried again and it set up smoothly. Nice app options to choose so you don’t have to go looking one by one. I’d recommend.

I recently bought the Amazon Fire Tablet for my child, and it has been an absolute game-changer! The tablet is incredibly easy for them to use, with a kid-friendly interface that’s intuitive and fun. The screen is clear and bright, making it perfect for watching educational videos, reading e-books, or playing games. I also love the sturdy design—it's built to withstand drops and spills, which is a must for any child’s device! The battery life is impressive, lasting long enough for extended use without needing constant recharging. I’m especially happy with the parental controls, which allow me to set limits on screen time and choose age-appropriate content. Plus, the Amazon Kids+ subscription gives us access to tons of learning apps, games, and books. Overall, it’s an affordable, durable, and well-rounded tablet that has become an essential tool for both learning and entertainment. Highly recommend it for parents looking for a safe, reliable device for their kids!
