Works great, clear picture 4k quality, and so easy to use. Got this new one because my old fire cube’s remote started having issues with the batteries not lasting more than a few days. This version is less expensive, so compact, and same picture quality so it was a no brainer. Love it, no complaints. I have a smart tv but much rather connect the firestick and have the Amazon platform as it’s what I’m used to and it’s easy to navigate.

Setup was amazingly friendly. Not one glitch while setting up. Came with power cord and adapter. To activate Alexa push the button on the remote. Other than limited access to ad free and limited selections (I only have Amazon prime) the device works well. Pleased with the purchase and video quality is a huge improvement from classic DVDs playing on a DVD player! Guess I am old school but I think this device will work great for my application! Definitely recommend, just wish there were more selections to watch with Prime Video.

All I can say is wow, this firestick is so much better than my old one. Granted my old one was 5 plus years old so that’s a given. Setup was easy what takes the longest is downloading your apps and logging in. The speed is remarkably fast and there was no buffering. The remote feels well made and I couldn’t be happier with this firestick.

We replaced our old one with this one since it lagged really bad and was restarting in the middle of use. This one is operating at a normal speed and we can easily switch apps without a problem. It offered to restore everything from our previous fire stick, to which we declined so we could make sure we only downloaded things we needed. Overall pleased with this purchase. However, it’s worth noting that I wish the Hulu button wasn’t removed. We will never use Peacock. In fact, it would be nice to have the ability to customize the shortcut buttons. The remote feels like it’s noticeably made with cheaper materials than the previous remote we had with an older version. I couldn’t tell from other reviews if it came with the cord or not. It does. Everything needed is included. The cord is the same length as the older model’s, which is pretty short in my opinion. I liked that there’s a cord included to help it connect to the tv if the angles aren’t working. Such is the case for us.

I have to say I had a problem with it. Because of the plug that Amazon supplies for it. It doesn't really have enough power to it or something. Something's wrong with it. Anyways, you need to change the awhether you plug it into the wall. Or are you plugged into a search for tech? But you need to change that adapter as far as functionality. The functionality was fine. I'm not too big on channels. I mean the channels were OK. The sound quality is perfect. I don't have a problem with any of the buffering. A picture quality is great. It's compatible with my t. V. But truly as far as buffering.You don't really have to worry about that as long as your WI.Fi.Is in excellent or very good status
