I have the Paperwhite Signature, think it is 11th generation. When I bought it, I picked the Kindle case that kind of looks like denim fabric. It did not hold up well. In a very short time, a month or so, it was fraying around the edges - though I admit, the Kindle was tossed into my bag and taken everywhere with me, I was not precious with it - still, one would expect an almost $40 case to hold up for longer than it did. Structurally it is still fine, it just looks bad with the edges all fuzzy. I have had $10 device cases that held up better. This one is not fabric. So far I like it. In the description it says leather, though I am not sure about that, it doesn’t feel like leather. Maybe it is some mixture of leather and plastic. I am hoping whatever it is, it will stay looking nice for longer. I got the Merlot color, which is like a dark brick red. It has texture, which I like, it feels good in your hands and is not slippery at all. I think I might get a fabric sleeve or pouch to keep it in when I take it with me, just for some extra protection, and will update my review in a few months.

I need to frame this recommendation for you. I have a sleek car (Audi A7) with not much in the way of angles or places to catch anything. A few days ago I was pulling out of a parking lot onto a highway that has two lanes in each direction with a posted speed limit of 45 mph. It was lunch time on a sunny day, lots of traffic. I got up to around 45 mph and heard a thump, looked in my rear view mirror and saw something brown bounce off the hatch lid and onto the road. I knew immediately it was my Kindle! I’d put in on the roof of my car as I was loading things into it and drove off. I had to go a half mile or so up the road to be able to turn around and then over a mile to turn back around. I made five different passes looking for it - really upsetting a lot of other drivers as I did so. I was just about to give up on it when I saw something in the middle of the road between the two yellow lines that were just a few inches apart. I pulled off into a driveway and ran back, waiting until I had a break in the traffic and ran out and got it. I was amazed! The case was barely scratched and the Kindle was unmarked and working fine. I suppose it’s safe to assume that due to where it landed, other cars had missed it, but without a doubt it had hit the road surface at 45 mph! I’m certain that if I had no case or a crappy one, my Kindle would have been gone and likely in pieces. I’d post a picture of it but it would just look like a nice Kindle in a nice case, adding nothing to the recommendation. I can only say, you should buy one for your Kindle, it fits well and looks great, and if you’re stupid enough to drive off with it on top of your car, there’s a chance it’ll be ok.

Well made with decent quality leather of perfect thickness. Provides good protection for your reader. You bought the best reader, protect it with the best case. The leather wraps around a plastic case which holds the reader. The leather alone would be too floppy. The front of the case folds to the back to allow for holding the reader as if it didn't have a case. The case gives the reader an extremely comfortable feel and also provides significant protection in the event that you drop the reader.

I love this case. It fits perfectly and doesn't effect the balance of my Kindle. The microfiber inside protects the screen well. I love the feature of closing it to put the Kindle to sleep! It has hard plastic backing beneath the leather, so it's mostly pretty sturdy. The only thing that seems iffy is the crease or "hinge" area. It feels a little flimsy, although it is holding up well. Time will tell. I do think it's overpriced. Hopefully the price will come down soon. Overall, I am very pleased with this.

This is my most favorite way to read now. I used to only read physical books because I thought the kindle was bad. However, my therapist suggested I get the Kindle because I have Amazon prime so that gives me Kindle unlimited and I have already read since I bought this around 120 bucks this year and it is much easier to read this on the go laying in bed really anywhere and his waterproof which makes it really nice so I can lay in the tub and read my darkest fantasies. I love the screen and how it doesn’t glare. I also love how light it is overall, the quality is absolutely amazing. There is some problems with everything moving slow, especially when entering the Kindle store, but I’ve gotten over that since I’ve had it.

Diese Kindlhülle hält nun schon 1 Jahr, keine Verschleißerscheinung. Jedoch wird auch achtsam damit umgegangen. Farbe hat sich nicht verändert. Sehr zufrieden

Ho acquistato questa cover in pelle con interno in microfibra per il mio nuovo Kindle Paperwhite. Alcuni di voi potranno vederlo come una sorta di verde sbiadito ma fidatevi che dal vivo è molto più interessante e particolare rispetto alle immagini presenti nella pagina prodotto. In ogni caso, se preferite, nello store sono presenti colorazioni più "standard" come bordeaux, nero e blu. Insomma, se desiderate un oggetto di qualità questa cover è un must! Consiglio l'acquisto a tutti i possessori di Kindle e specialmente a coloro che, come me, sono sempre in movimento e amano leggere. Inoltre, elemento tutt'altro che scontato, se utilizzate frequentemente il lettore nell'arco della giornata è molto più soddisfacente avere una bella cover, lussuosa, che vi faccia piacere guardare e tenere in mano; potrebbe diventare proprio uno dei tanti aspetti che contribuirà a farvi leggere più eBook rispetto a libri cartacei.
