At basically the same capacity as most modern smartphones, its a good option if you just need to top off while on a trip or doing some activity out and about in a pinch. Its fairly light, easy to fit in your pocket, slim and easy to take you with you anywhere you go. But its only going to charge you up maybe once. Don't count on this if you take a long trip and need portable battery power to recharge multiple times or multiple devices. This is meant to be a one charge, one device type of accessory and its great at that!

I've used this power brick 4 times now. It holds enough power to recharge my 14 ProMax 1 time. That's all I needed it for, so I'm happy. I love the ease of use, how I can just attach it to the back of my case and my phone recharges. I like that it's slim and not cumbersome. The whole unit warms slightly when charging the phone, but it's not enough to worry about.

Back in the Dark Ages, when there was no Qi charging, what did people use?... a fricking cable. For all the complaints about slow charge times and battery temperature using Mag charging, what keeps you from using a USB-C to Lightning? Using a thermocouple instant read meat thermometer (low tech), outside surface temp on the 621 is as high as 105F. I have a MagSafe compatible clear phone case where the temp at the 621/case interface edge was 88F. Detaching the 621 showed an inner surface temp of 95F. Using the USB-C charging port gives an 621 outside surface temp of 86F with the 621/case interface temp at 85F. A fully charged 621 charged my iPhone 14 Pro from 33% to 94% in one hr and it still has 1 bar left on the 621. The iPhone never shutdown for over-temp charging, not even screen brightness lowering for temp. Keep in mind we probably still use our phones when it's hot outside (over 100F) or we're in the sun. I like that the Mag charging is disabled when the USB-C is utilized. 621 stays attached, phone is at a reasonable temp and charging speed. Just pickup a short USB-C to Lightning cable so it doesn't dangle. Mag charging is also energy inefficient (added heat dissipation). I don't like Lightning re-insertions either, but I prefer it over premature battery RIP. Charging time for the 621 is pretty long... w/Anker Nano II 30w, it took 3hrs? I'm curious how well the Apple MagSafe battery pack performs?

The Anker 621 Magnetic Portable Charger (MagGo) is a fantastic accessory for your iPhone. It’s compact, lightweight, and easy to grab on the go, making it perfect for travel or everyday use. Despite its slim design, the 5,000mAh capacity delivers impressive performance, providing approximately 1.5 full charges for an iPhone 16 Pro at an affordable price. The magnetic attachment is secure and reliable, ensuring a seamless charging experience without any issues so far. While it does add some weight to your phone, it’s easy to detach when not in use. Overall, it’s a convenient, high-quality power bank that pairs perfectly with MagSafe-compatible devices.

My phone died and my cord wasn’t working so I used it (fully charged) for the first on my iPhone 15 pro max by just letting it magnetically attach to my iPhone. I was also using my phone at the same time and I was only able to get a half charge until it died and it remained hot the entire time. I will re-try with just letting it charge w/o being active on my phone, but I’ve had better charges with the cord and cube combo. Side note: the “white” color option is more gray than white.

No queda a la medida en el iPhone 15 pro , buena carga minimalista y delgado pero buscaré otra opción

Batterie très fine qui ne prend pas de place. Suffisante pour recharger son iPhone une fois.

Great item and does the intended job. Doesn’t last as long as my previous portable charger but is very handy to have and easy to carry around. It does get a little warm while charging if you’re also using your device so better used when not using your device. Not having a cable to charge is very handy and is less to carry around with you, but does come with its own. Magnet strength is good, charges through a standard case. Good value for money.

Zoals titel al beetje zegt: Te groot voor een iPhone 14 pro, steekt onderkant wat uit. Bij het opladen wordt de anker toch behoorlijk warm. Dus zit te denken om deze retour te sturen
