Absolutely incredible speaker. Quick set up. Easy controls. Sound quality is nice. Loud enough one is fine for the whole pool area but not too loud to have the sound carry far. Saw that it was waterproof so I handed the speaker to my toddler in his play pool. Yep it's waterproof. Amazing. Incredible price too. Bought some random brand speaker for likely a little more then this and the Anker brand sounds much better. More battery life. Long warranty. Better construction it looks sturdy. Very happy with this and every Anker purchase.

This is popular for a reason, 1. Its price is very cheap, just under $30, i put this first because its why i looked at it over others. 2. The build quality doesnt feel cheap, its also quite a small device, so it can easily go anywhere. 3. Sound quality is decent, maybe not Bose quality, but still up there. 4. Controls on top are simple and intuitive. Anker makes good stuff, at affordable prices, and i highly recommend this bluetooth speaker.

OMG this is a fantastic, compact speaker. Good power, long lasting. I had an old version of this Anker but had the old port that the pins were braking… this is a C-Charger, waterproof, holds a nice long charge. I use it to travel in the car long distances to listen to music and podcasts. Volume is substantial, easy to charge and was easy to bluetooth setup. Great speaker - i would buy this again.

This review is for the Anker Soundcore 2 Bluetooth speaker with 12 Watts of power. At around $30 this speaker is a bargain, but for $40 it is worth looking at other speakers and maybe spending a little more. The sound is very good, but slightly tinny if you increase the volume a lot. The bass is loud enough but you won't feel it like with a larger speaker. The highs are present but I thought the mid-range was a little bit weak. There isn't much distortion at mid-volume, but at the maximum volume there is a noticeable tinny sound and hollowness from the enclosure. Keep the volume low enough to avoid the minor flaws and you will still have plenty of bass for the music to sound good. Headphones will probably sound better than this speaker unless the headphones are really cheap. The speaker is a little smaller than I expected, but it provides impressive sound for the size. As small speakers go, this is surprisingly good considering the low price. If you want an inexpensive, small speaker don't hesitate to buy this one. I didn't test the moisture resistance but it has a rubberized body with no gaps or cutouts for the buttons on top. The USB ports are covered with a panel to keep out splashes. The front is a metal perforated grille, so I don't know how well it resists water splashes on the front. If you want really great sound, or bass that fills a small room, this speaker probably won't make you happy. I got it because it was an inexpensive, decent, portable speaker. For a lot of people this speaker will be good enough for casual listening. I'm using it when I don't want to use headphones with my phone or MP3 player.

This is a terrific, compact portable speaker irrespective of its low price. It's not a cheaply made speaker even though it's value-priced. Do your self a favor and purchase the speaker/case bundle available on Amazon. The case is certainly needed if you're going to transport this speaker anywhere. It deserves to be protected. I purchased this speaker for my wife to use at work, and she loves it. It weighs about 1 lb, so carrying it in her book bag is really not a problem given some of these portables weigh about 3 lbs. The tone response is nice for a $30 speaker. I'm a professional musician and I'm pleased with its low, high, and mid-range responses. Take a chance and purchase it. It's new to us so I cannot comment on the speaker's longevity, but I've always enjoyed great experiences with ANKER products.

This Anker Soundcore speaker was a gift for an older family member who's hard of hearing, and it's worked out perfectly so far! It sounds great considering its compact size, and adds plenty of volume to the laptop to which its connected. It connects easily as well, and the battery life is very respectable. The buttons are also BIG and easy to understand, which is a plus! For the price, this is a great auxiliary speaker!

Everything Anker I use I always feel like it's good value for the money. Good sound, use in shower, ease of use, charging easy and battery lasts awhile, durable, and overall quality product.

Speaker works great and has good base and volume control especially considering the low price tag. The bluetooth connection is fairly quick (not the quickest ever but serviceable) and the pause/play button also has functionality to change songs with multiple taps which is a nice bonus feature. Overall for the price you get, this is a hard product to beat. Not intended for larger parties or wide open spaces but for at home or camping/vacationing this would be your best friend!
