To reduce expenses and to help protect the environment, in early 2021 our household started taking a number of measures to cut our energy consumption. These motion solar lights work so well and are consistently bright at night as long as there are sunny or partly sunny days for them to charge. However, if there are cloudy or rainy days, they tend not to work at all which makes sense. Hence solar lights. Otherwise, they’re a great value.

I first bought 8 pieces of the Aootek New Solar Motion Sensor Lights two years ago, and I’m impressed that all of them are still working perfectly. The motion detection is excellent, and the lights are bright with a wide coverage angle. They’re waterproof and solar-powered, so they’ve handled rain and weather changes without any issues. Because of their durability and performance, I decided to buy another 4-pack. These lights are a great investment for illuminating the yard, front door, or garage area.

OK. I am overseas. Buy to resell. So my only drawback is one that most people will not face, the packaging. Because I sell one one not 6 at a time normally. But, these lights are bright, the package shipped to protect, and all screws etc were there. Plus directions are clear to understand. Button works opposite of my last one's, but, the button is where it is harder to have someone turn them off while casing the property. Did I say these are bright? Only option I eould love to see is ability to add a second battery inside the case for longer run time.

I was a little worried about these being solar charged—I live in the northwest and it’ll likely be cloudy until May. The side of my house my pathway is on is also under a big fir tree so light is limited even more. So far they have turned on every time! I use the third setting (they stay off until motion detected) so that may help. I put mine lower to the ground in an attempt to get more shadow contrast of my uneven stepping stones and it works wonderfully. I should have bought them sooner!
