I wanted to get a water filter for my whole house due to suspected high levels of chlorine in my water but whole house filters are extremely expensive. Decided to shop around for a shower head filter to start. This one is extremely easy to install (10-15 minutes) max with no tools required. The filter did not reduce the water pressure to my shower that I could notice. After using it for about a week, I noticed that my skin was beginning to clear up from acne. Was not expecting any crazy changes in that regard since my water is city municipal and should be *relatively* clean. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but if it’s true that the filter only needs to be replaced every 6 months, then this is probably one of the best budget friendly shower filters on the market. Does it actually make the water cleaner? No idea! But it definitely made my skin look and feel better. I’ve also noticed a little less hard water deposits in my shower as well. Maybe it will even reduce the amount of time I’ll need to clean my shower!

I seen this on a YouTube influencer about having healthier hair & skin. This seems to be working brilliantly! I was skeptical at 1st since I bought one similar in past but didn't feel any difference. This one, I already feel my hair is softer and skin! I had a leaky one 1st time & noticed it was already cracked. But Customer service was on point & sent another right away. Best purchase I have made all year. And that's saying A LOT!! Get one if you want cleaner water & softer hair!

The filter does a great job of reducing chlorine and impurities, and I can actually feel the difference in my skin and hair. My skin is less dry, and my hair feels a lot softer and smoother after showering, which is a huge win for me. Live in a hard water area and it as wrecking my hair. Not only do I have fine, thin hair, (which is hard to comb through when wet,) but I also bleached it platinum for a year and a half. The reviews here said it made a difference in their hair so I gave it an order. YES!! Wow, such a difference in just the first use!! Not only did the shower feel like there is a water softener but, I noticed a HUGE difference in how easy the lather worked and how easy it was to comb my hair after the shower. Hair feels so great, normal and not shocky at all like before with the super hard water. According to what I've read I think the cartridge might last about 90-120 days in the area where I live, (a desert with super rough water. I think I will order a new full filter when it is up, (the price is totally worth it!!)

Love this filter and appreciate all of the other reviews that helped me narrow my choice down to this one. I just got it this week, have used it twice, and the results are fantastic! For months, I've been struggling to figure out what's wrong with my hair. It's always been bouncy with lots of body and generally, not especially dry. For the last year or so, my hair looks dry and is lifeless. It won't hold a curl and isn't shiny. My water is very good and soft, so I didn't think about a filter. I tried deep conditioning treatments, stopped getting highlights, thought I might have fried it using a Drybar styling brush to flip the ends, thought my hormones were out of whack, etc... You name it. One of my neighbors suggested getting a shower filter and the hunt was on. So glad I got this. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. It doesn't decrease the waterflow at all. Immediately, I didn't smell chlorine like I often do. My hair is so soft. Yesterday, I curled the ends with a curling iron and the curls are still there. My hair is shinier, thicker, bouncier and back to life like it used to be. I've already recommended this to a friend. Also, I used to get out of the shower occasionally with bloodshot eyes that I'm guessing were caused by the chlorine. I can tell this is gentler on my eyes and skin. I don't know how long it will last or how difficult it will be to change the filters, but I'm loving the immediate results.
