Powerful enough for my needs, light and maneuverable, easy assembly, works well in sandy soil mixed with organic matter and a variety of small to large rocks although it will kick when it comes in contact. Plastic constructed, metal tines. Leaving the wheels down gave me better control when shaving a few inches of topsoil. Glad there's no gas oder

This thing is a beast at tilling the soil. Not only does it till, it also churns the soil making it soft and velvety in texture. I was also pleasantly surprised at how quiet it souds when in use. Simply put, blenders are much louder than this machine. Imagine that! It's simple to assemble and folds nicely to occupy limited space in the house. Great buy. Hopefully it stands the test of tine.

This little tiller is surprising capable! I bought it to use in some pretty undesirable ground, and it performed better than anticipated! Pros: Light weight (easy to move around and store) Electric power (no fighting with a finicky carburetor) Good power (cuts through small roots, moves <medium rocks) Cons: Light weight (so expect to have to push down to hold the machine down to dig in) Learning to manage the power cord while in use.

Will not use until garden season so do not its performance or durability. Device arrived in good shape and timely fashion. Easy to assemble and fold up for storage. The price is right for a cultivator that can double as a light tiller in small spaces. Feels good ergonomically and the snap-down wheels add stability. Should be a handy weapon against weeds.

Hang on tight, or it will get away from you! If you have Bermuda grass, clean the blades very often. Although mine is mostly brown, I went the full length of the garden before checking the blades and it probably took me 20 minutes to get it unwound. (There won't be any of that in heaven!) And the soil is rock-hard and dry, and I have quite a dust storm going Anyway, I didn't think it was that loud but it sure shakes me a lot. This is the first time I've tilled it so there's a lot of that dang grass. I did plant vegetables in it and just kept it halfway under control with the weed eater. I want to do it right next summer. 8 SW Missouri, and this is the first time I've had issues with Bermuda grass strangling out my flower bed, so this garden will be a big project. This tiller can handle it, but it's not going to be done in a week! I bought the smaller one, the 16".I also purchased the extension cord it suggested and it reaches from the house to the back of the lot by the sound wall. It was also very easy to put together just by looking at the photo in the instruction book I do wear safety glasses and recommend gloves, or you will have blisters in 5 minutes. Update: I am half done already so I'll have it finished in 2 days total. It's going faster than I thought.

It's light and maneuverable yet appears tough and well built. It digs into the soil the moment you hold back on it so it's good for preparing new ground. But if you don't hold it back, it moves right along loosening the top couple of inches for planting seed without destroying soil structure. Can't tell you about the test of time, haven't had it long.

This was my first purchase of an electric tiller. Did extensive research online from big box stores and amazon including all reviews. Last year used my neighbors big gas Manta tiller which was very hard to use. Was going to buy another brand with a 13.5 amp motor which was sold out everywhere. I came across this model on amazon. First off on an electric tiller the 13.5 amp is a must in my opinion. The Positives. Very lightweight and easy to maneuver. The Tiller was securely packaged and arrived timely. Installation was a breeze with no tools needed assembled in less than 10 minutes and for those who don't like manuals there is a short video on the amazon site that shows you what to do even a child could assemble this. Did my entire backyard garden yesterday including ripping up many areas of grass down to the dirt. The unit is very quiet and user friendly for older users. The only two cons. The seller had an additional 20 dollar off coupon I missed out on after my order. My neighbor in the back Manta tiller will not start and he is borrowing my electric tiller. I highly recommend this seller and tiller! Our local hardware store charges close to 100 dollars to rent one for four hours so it was a no brainer to purchase this one. You won't regret this purchase! Great Value and packs a punch!
