I very much appreciate not having a huge plastic dispenser under the sink. The small tablet container is refillable - a definite plus. Does just fine on our dishes. Sometimes I find a slight residue on bowls on the top shelf, but simple to just wipe and rinse. I'm on my 2nd order and plan to continue.

Very effective. I love the fact that I’m not dissolving plastic into our dishwashing routine, with all of the concerns over microplastic ingestion I felt it was time to explore options. I gave these a try and have tested on fairly well rinsed dishes as well as other more challenging messes, only to be pleasantly surprised at how thorough of an end result we saw! I regularly clean out my DW filter (that helps people!) as well as ensure there aren’t large pieces of food left on plates, rinse and load. Quite some time ago I read on a DW website that some residue on the plates etc., is needed in order for the detergent to adhere and work properly, so I usually don’t “prewash” my dishes, just a rinse. Another reviewer commented that this product is from China. After researching the founder, I’ve discovered that the products themselves are manufactured in the USA, however the “forever containers” are “responsibly” manufactured in China….if that helps anyone with additional sourcing information or country of origin concerns. Now…..being that these are packaged in a sealed paper bag, there ARE going to be several tablets that are broken. I guess the question comes down to how important is reducing your plastic demand/consumption is, and are you willing to put up with the inconvenience of pieces to create a tablet when you get near the bottom of the bag? Cost wise, it would be GREAT if these were a little less expensive given they are using “less packaging” and the tablet is a compressed form of powder. Compare .44 per tablet vs. .25-.33 per brand name plastic pods. Overall I’d say I’m pleased, would recommend, and will continue to use in the future.

I like that it’s unscented, made of natural ingredients and plastic free. No visible powder residue on the items washed. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the resulting whitish, powdery sediments marks on the dishwasher bottom after the third wash using Blueland dishwasher detergent tablets. Will continue using Blueland and maybe try the laundry detergent as well.

We like the low waste footprint of this product. It does take two tablets to get really dirty dishes clean. But the environmental impact is more important for us.

These clean the dishes well. I really like that there is no plastic like wrap around it. Simple and easy to use. I will purchase this again.

We have been eliminating unnecessary plastics in our household. This was one of the latest things to be switched over. Washed clean with no residue! Even on the silicone items. Scentless! Glasses and plates are shiny! Steel items don't appear scoured! A bit more expensive, but a worthy price to pay for not having plastic containers / plastic film pods and overscented powders leaving crazy residue all over my dish loads. Love it and will absolutely buy it again.

My countertop dishwasher uses only five litres of water for a full load. While I doubted a totally toxin-free detergent and so little water would adequately clean, I was wrong—the bowl caked with dried lentil soup and a pot coated in boiled milk residue were spotless. I'm thrilled to have found a cleaner that product that protects our oceans. And our health. Thank you, caring Blueland!

I use half tablet and dishes always come out clean. I prefer to use something safer than the more toxic options.
