Very affordable and have used several other more expensive timers that were less quality than these. This one does the job just fine. Sturdy and have used for over 8 months without issue. Easy to understand. Timer is accurate. Lights are bright when I need them and my fan and heater for my plants turn on the same time every day.

I have had two sets of these timers. It's no brainer to set these timers up, it's extremely Elementary. They go bad Within 8 months to a year... I had one take a nosedive on me about 11 months after I programmed it for my grow house. Since they're mechanical they will wear out due to resistance. The outside dial rotates around the center little red indicator. In time the outside dial gets harder to turn around the inside indicator and it will lock completely up. I can't say that a digital is better than a mechanical timer. I chose mechanical because I'm old school. I can touch it, feel it, and know NOW when to replace it. With a digital timer we can't do that. I learned my lesson by not paying attention to how easy that outside dial rotates around the inside. I set it to come on at 6:00 a.m. and go off at 6:00 p.m now. One morning I woke up and my light did not come on, so I looked at my timer and realized that I couldn't even turn the dial. It was not that crucial at the time but if it was a month later I would have ruined all my plants. I'm not bashing this timer! All things mechanical will wear. I have a spare one ready to go timed the same as the one that I have going right now. With these timers, I suggest that you use preventive maintenance. Every once in awhile unplug it and rotate that dial and make sure that it's rotating very easily and that it's not giving you any resistance. Note: when you turn it off and you rotated to see if it's still easy to rotate around the inside ring. You will have to reprogram it. Very easy. When you do check it. If it is getting harder to rotate then when it came out of the box, it is time for you to throw that one away and use the new one that you have already programmed and ready to go. These timers are very reliable straight out of the box and for months on in. They're very inexpensive and they work very well. So, I would highly recommend getting them. Safety in numbers. 2 is what you should have on hand. If one goes bad and you're down to the one, order two more. I mean it's like once a year that you'll be ordering these depending on how you use them. I use mine everyday. At first I had it programmed to 18 hours on, 6 hours off. Then I had to go to 12 hours on, 12 hours off. I did notice that it was harder for me to rotate the outside ring but did not pay too much attention to it until it locked up. I learned my lesson! Just want to pass that lesson on to you. The plants I grow are worth thousands of dollars and if I can rely on these, I think you could too. Just remember to do some preventive maintenance! Please check to see how easy it is to rotate. Good luck, and I hope this helped?

Bathroom nightlight and christmas tree We usually buy smart plugs but they can be work to set up. These timers work well and are easy to set up. Sometime simple is best. They are silent or very quiet (I can’t stand hearing the tick tick of clocks or timers) I never hear these.

These timers are easy to use and great for Christmas lights. I love getting up in the morning and having my trees already lit. They work well and seem like good quality.

Just what I needed! I can go to bed and see where I'm going, the lamp turns off on it's own and when I wake up, there is ample light! The timers really help me automate my lights. Easy to program and work great!

They work well and are fairly easy to figure out. The little black “teeth” aren’t very good quality and can cause the light to come on or turn off for 15 minutes when it shouldn’t. This hasn’t happened on all of them we have, but it has to a couple.

Play Video The BN-LINK BND-60/U47 timers are a reliable and cost-effective solution for automating your indoor appliances. I’ve been using these timers for a few weeks now, and they’ve exceeded my expectations in terms of ease of use and performance. Here’s my detailed experience: Pros: Simple Setup: Setting the timer is straightforward with the 24-hour dial and easily adjustable pins. Each pin represents a 30-minute interval, allowing for flexible scheduling. Sturdy Build: The compact and durable design fits snugly into standard outlets without blocking adjacent plugs. Energy Saving: Great for automating lights, humidifiers, or other small appliances, which helps cut down on unnecessary electricity usage. Silent Operation: The mechanical operation is virtually noiseless, which is ideal for bedrooms or living spaces. Two-Pack Value: Having two timers in the pack is incredibly convenient for managing multiple devices in different rooms. Cons: Manual Override: While the manual override switch is helpful, it can be a bit stiff at first. No Battery Backup: If there’s a power outage, the timer resets, so you’ll need to reprogram it. Overall Verdict The BN-LINK BND-60/U47 timers are a fantastic option for anyone seeking a reliable and user-friendly solution for controlling appliances. The lack of a battery backup is a minor inconvenience compared to the overall value and functionality these timers provide. Rating: 4.5/5 Highly recommend for budget-conscious consumers looking to add convenience and energy savings to their home setup.

Arrived in an unsealed box in good condition. A set of 2 good quality 3-prung mechanical timers. Come with a user manual that is easy to follow. Easy to use and work well: Just have to push the pin (30-minute each) down for the light to be on, set the current time by turning the dial to the correct position and slide the button on the side to Timer. Good deal @16.99 (2024-11-22) for 2 timers compared to others that I’ve seen/reviewed.

The device is like inexpensive mechanical watch, nothing fancy but functional and easy to operate. If one is not looking for multifunctional timer, and precise timing, this meets the requirements or at least mine.
