I like the quality of the product. It doesn't get hot even It has been connected to two monitors. 👍

It is really solid docking device, quality-wise. As shown in two of the pictures, there is an odd thing on the device. Looks like a lens. We have been using it for a bit now and it is working well. Do note that one of the HDMI 4K ports is only 30 Hz. We didn't run testing on the ports for quality, but they do appear to all work well. It really is a solid device and feels well made.

The docking station works in general, but there are a few inconveniences. I tried using it with 2 HDMI inputs, and my laptop would sometimes have trouble recognizing one of them when waking up from sleep. This happened sporadically, but enough for me to give up and just plug one of the HDMI inputs directly into the laptop. That fixed the HDMI issue. As for USB-A ports, I tried using 3 inputs (keyboard, mouse, headphones). The keyboard and mouse worked okay, but the headphones audio quality can get really choppy sometimes. Again, I had to plug the headset directly into the computer to get better audio quality. Overall, would not recommend.

Well-built device, very solid, and works great with my computers and peripherals. However, after a few days, the USB keyboard that was connected to this docking station started having problems - skipping letters, duplicating keystrokes, or disappearing for a few seconds - and that's very frustrating when you're in the middle of an online meeting trying to capture comments. The keyboard was charged, nothing had been spilled on it, and it's working perfectly with a different hub on a Mac computer. So this docking station is definitely the problem. (For reference, the docking station was connected to my Dell laptop - it has a dual hub port but they work individually.)

My partner just changed jobs and with that what she was using for a work laptop. I ordered this docking station instead of the much more expensive "brand name" one that is intended for her work laptop. This docking station works just fine and does the trick. She only needs to connect the USB "C" connector to her new machine when she is at home and the full size monitor, keyboard, mouse, video camera and speakerphone are all available to her. Just like the brand name at a fraction of the cost.

I like this unit - it's small and light-weight and doesn't require any external power source to operate. I tried this USB docking station with 2 monitors and a keyboard and mouse plugged into it, and it works great - with both my HP Envy and my Dell Latitude laptops. I have not tried using the USB power input yet through the docking station, but I expect it to work just fine if the laptop supports external USB power - I will report back if I find any problems there.
