I have an older laptop and needed some extra ports. This thing definitely has a lot of ports in a small form factor. It's works incredibly well and is very well-made. I had to buy an adapter because it has a USB-C cable and my ancient but good laptop has the older variety of ports. I can't say enough about this little guy! I'm VERY happy with it. For the video guy/writer/YouTuber on a budget who wants a portable product but still doesn't want to skimp on quality, this is the item for you!

Very satisfied with this purchase. Bought as a cheap alternative to Valve's dock, paired with a Jsaux mod case which has a built in kick stand. I'd hoped that this hub would fit in the band attachment that came with case (it doesn't). That and only 1 hdmi out is the only shortcoming, but for 20 bucks that is really nit picking. I already had a 100Watt charger on hand, paired with that it works great. Used this to add some free storage space with extra usb drives I had laying about as well. Also worth mentioning, works flawlessly with 8bitdo usb adapter. Instantly connects, actually a more seamless experience than using the same adapter on my desktop. I would only go another route to add an HDMI out, and an ethernet connection. But for a single screen using wifi this is a perfect affordable option for my needs.

What I like - Construction: Is absolutely wonderful, the aluminum unibody is fantastic and makes it feel pretty sturdy to the touch, I had very little give with any ports and the card readers are not loose as some of the other docks out there. - Dedicated ethernet port: Love this feature, a lot of ultrathin laptops don't have an ethernet port, neither do tablets, if you work in anything on the network, having an ethernet is a must. - Output: Had no problems charging my full size laptop. - Storage: I really like the cable stores in the casing feature, it makes it easy to store by itself and you don't have to carry an extra cable around that you might lose. What I don't like - The bandwidth seems to be shared between all the ports in the dock, which means that whenever you are copying a large file over your USB ports your ethernet speed will drop, you won't really notice this much when just browsing the web, but if you are copying a file from the network to an USB drive, oh boy does it crawl. As a note, this is probably a limitation on the space available inside the housing for pcbs, so can't fault Baseus as hard, but still... - The placement on the card readers is not the best, specially if you have it connectected at home like an office dock (if you have it against the wall fixed, it is very finicky to remove them.) What needs changing - The LED is pointless and badly positioned, if you have it connected on the right side port of your laptop is just another reflection on the desk that does nothing. - I/O distribution, here is what it needs to be: > Front (from left to right): USB-A, USB-A, USB-C (all 3.1 or better), tiny pinhole LED that turns red when it is connected without any device and blue once you connect a device to it > Side with no cable: Card readers > Back (from left to right): USB-C (IN PD), USB-A (any spec), HDMI, HDMI, Ethernet port This distribution would ensure all the user accessible IO is in a good place and all things that usually remain connected are in an easily accessible place. 3.5/5 the lack of USB-C in the front is a real oversight in 2022 for the price.

Two things to mention right off the top - 1. The device's own USB cable folds over in a U shape and plugs into the end of the docking station for storing in a bag while on the go. 2. The docking station's flexible USB cable makes it easy to plug things into then, set out of the way while working. The form factor reminds me a bit of taking a protein bar and tossing it into a bag as I head out. It's a fantastic way to expand the number of usb ports available for use with a laptop. The ability to access multiple USB devices and an SD card reader without having to switch out accessories is priceless. If you are someone who is on the go regularly or you work almost exclusively off a laptop at home and need extra peripherals to be more efficient, I highly recommend a docking station like this one.

I wanted to play my Lenovo Legion Go on a TV and this allows me to do that. It just works, plain and simple. An added bonus I didn't know of at the time I bought this docking station is that I can use it to play my Nintendo Switch on a TV without having to move my dock or buy another dock. I highly recommend, especially for the price.

Magnífico producto, facilita mucho el trabajo al garantizar conectividad de todo tipo. Con el cargador de 40w puedo cargar la laptop al tiempo que trabajo en ella. Muy recomendable.

Excelente calidad de materiales, aunque podrían mejorar el cable a uno más flexible. Lo compré para usarlo con una MacBook Air M2 y funciona perfectamente. La luz del indicador es tenue y no molesta, aunque calienta un poco el adaptador, no tiene problemas, lo he utilizado por 12 horas continuas. Lo recomiendo bastante.
