This works and honestly it tastes terrible. My solution is that I use raw honey, coat my mouth fully. I then scoop the shilajit and then use another scoop of honey and water to swallow. And follow it up with a handful of spinach to block the burp and smell of it. I feel great has all the minerals we need grinder up together. 😂 it’s like swallowing metal and dirt. Being healthy is not for the weak. IT WORKS 100 percent tho.

I've been drinking Shilajit with my husband in the mornings on and off for about a year now. It's become a bit of a morning ritual; I make a large mug and drink half and give the rest to him. The taste and smell is what I can only describe as earth and tar. This makes sense when you research what Shilajit is and how it's prepared. I don't mind the taste at all anymore, in fact I've come to enjoy it, but my favorite preparation method has been the simplest and tastiest, adding honey! Shilajit and honey were made to go together, it completely and entirely changes the flavor profile in a beautiful and enjoyable way. If you have purchased this product and found you're having a difficult time consuming it, add honey, I promise it will change the experience for you! As far as Shilajit living up to its claims, I believe I have seen improvements in my overall health. This isn't a magic potion, BUT, my skin, hair, nails, are healthier, my mind is clearer, and I feel more physically motivated, something I struggle with particularly in the winter months and I think it improves my digestion and gut health. It hasn't had any negative side effects so far. I do take breaks from consuming. I will drink it every morning for a few weeks and then take a few weeks off and restart the process. I have been taking this in addition to my prescription medications for ADHD and anxiety/depression as well as Freshcap.'s Ultimate Mushroom Complex, and L-Tyrosine. I wanted to have a more well-rounded and consistent nutrient diet with a focus on brain health and dopamine production (something us ADHDers don't do very well) and I think all of these things together have certainly contributed to my overall wellness.

I've been using shilajit for years. (You don't take it constantly, it's best to cycle on and off). I bought this product in October when my usual brand was unavailable, and I did not try it until this week. This is clearly cut with something oily and disgusting, probably mineral oil. It is not a proper resin. It's important to know that shilajit is always an acquired taste. A good quality shilajit has a strong, smoky resin taste that is something like very thick smoked fermented tea. It's enjoyable when you are accustomed to it. This however tastes rancid, and is a liquid that slides right off the ridiculous fancy scoop that's included. The taste is truly awful, and because it is an oil and not a resin, it is almost impossible to get the taste out of your mouth afterward. I will never waste money on this brand again, I will always wait for a trusted seller to stock mine. If you have tried this brand and think that you do not like shilajit or that it does not work for you, I suggest trying again with a reputable seller. This brand comes in obnoxious unnecessarily fancy packaging with lots of "guarantees" printed on it, but anyone who is actually familiar with shilajit will be wildly disappointed. From the good reviews I imagine there must be someone selling this brand who actually sells proper shilajit, but this is where I purchased it, and you do NOT want to buy yours here. If I had opened it sooner I would have returned it, but now all I can do is order from a reliable source instead and throw this bottle away. I do not recommend this item to others. Please buy it somewhere else.

The first shilajit i bought the Seenasi shilajit. Great energy and was very impressed. 2nd purchase was not that great and found a huge insect in it. So I decided to try BetterAlt due to lots of solid reviews. Got it yesterday (7/29/24) and not sure what is wrong. I love been using coffee to melt it and it would not stay melted. Smell and taste were very weak and almost had a soap taste. After taking it got a heat rush. And some nausea. Which did go away shortly. Very odd feeling. Has anyone had a similar experience? The date on the test paper is March 2024. Anyone has this batch? Interested in seeing if it's just their batch. Very disappointed and concerned about this maybe harmful to me. I rarely complain and very understanding that each batch can be slightly different. Someone please show me legit shilajit. The Sennasi I got the first time was all everyone said it was!! Or I wouldn't be trying to find a different brand.

A friend of friend takes this in gummy sweets and swears by it. I thought i'd give it a try in its more natural form and looked around and after reading various reviews, I went for this particular brand. On receiving the very nicely packed jar, I opened it and yes it doesn't smell great. A sort of burnt oily plastic smell. It doesn't taste much better and has the consistancy of marmite. So I use the little supplied spoon by dunking it in the jar about a 3rd of the way up the spoon and then hanging the spoon into my milk frother which heats up the milk for my morning coffee and slowly dissolves the resin. In a hot sweet milky coffee, it adds 'something' and I actually like the taste. The very first time I took it, I could 'feel' something different. A subtle boost in energy maybe. It definately curbed apetite for me. I've now been taking it daily for a month just in the morning with my coffee and apart from losing just over a stone (or 16lbs), I do feel a bit more energised. Not 4 cans of Redbull energised but definately dont feel knackered in the afternoons like I used to. It hasn't upset my stomach at all, my sleep is unchanged but then I sleep well anyway and I can say I feel better than I did before I started using it as a supplement. Weirdly I prefer my coffee with a dollop of this stuff. I cerntainly recommend you try it.

I think this is probably a good product, but it is a very thick consistency and hard to dish out. I won’t reorder as I will get capsules next time.
