Wow, we have had amazing customer service on a terrific product. I purchased this camera birdfeeder as a Christmas gift for my wife. We set it up right away and found that process to be very clear and straightforward. We began watching birds, and as an unexpected benefit, anyone in our backyard. The birds loved the feeder, unfortunately, so did a squirrel! We chased him away but he was undeterred and chewed the top of the plexiglass which holds the seed as well as the cable to the solar panels! My wife was crushed and reached out as to the possibility of replacement cables. I received a reply very shortly as was told that there was nothing like that available. Then, dear, helpful Yilia made my day. She said that VicoHome would send me a new camera feeder at no cost! Our new feeder (which has a reinforced cable!) arrived a few days later by priority mail and we are once again enjoying our backyard birds! Thank you Yilia and VicoHome.

I am an avid bird watcher and we get a lot of birds in our backyard. I am always curious to track all the different varieties of birds. While browsing Amazon I saw this bird feeder and instantly liked it. The idea of a solar powered wi-fi camera that would detect birds, small animals and then record a video and notify me through the phone app was very appealing. I ordered it and went through the easy setup and guided instructions. Everything worked perfectly. The bird feeder already has solar panels on the roof to charge the battery, but the extra solar panel also adds power to recharge the battery. The battery lasts all night very easily. The motion detection is great and I enjoy the notifications of birds, squirrels and even mice that come at night to eat the seeds. My only minor issue is that the bird detection is not that great and most of the times its a rough approximation of a bird detection. I hope they can improve that algorithm with the new LLM architecture that is now available. All in all, this is definitely a fun gadget and my family and I enjoy watching the videos of the various birds and animals that gather around. Highly recommend !
