This vaccuum is fierce! I've been used to anemic vaccuum cleaners that were cumbersome and hard to empty--the last one ended up in the electronic recycling as one practically needed an engineering degree to put it back together after cleaning it out. (Vaccuum cleaner designers: is it really so hard to place arrows on compatible pieces so one doesn't wrestle with trying to figure out how exactly they need to be aligned?!) I was more than delighted with the pickup power of this beast; it's light enough that my wife can haul it up and down the stairs without shrieking my name, and the emptying of the catch bin is easy breez; putting it back together is intuitive. Several attachments are included, and the price is great! Best one I've ever owned.

Really like this little vacuum. Compact, light weight and easy to use. Outside of a little squeaky pushing forward, it works great. I had been wanting to replace an older compact from another brand that is actually still working after 15 years. So nice to experience again a new vacuum that has the full suction capabilities. Yes, this is not the quietest little machine but it gets the job done in small places.

Even smaller than I thought. Single person in a two bedroom townhouse with two cats. It worked great but it did fill pretty fast with its small container, so I had to keep stopping to dump it out. It's really easy to do though. You push one button to pop it off and carry it to the trash, pop another button and then get the center part out, dump, and wipe off the filter that will have a ring of dust and hair attached to it, then pop it back on. Love paperless vacuums like this. I like its small size, actually. It is lightweight and easy to bring up stairs as you are vacuuming them with its brush attachment. I do wish it had a long handled brush attachment to clean stairs with, so you don't have to bend down or sit on the steps as you clean if you have a bad back and don't want to lean as you walk upstairs the whole time. Also, the hose is really, really short. I would buy a longer hose that fits this model if I were you. It as impossible to use the hand attachment to vacuum a cat tower. What I love most is that it is a compact vacuum WITH a hair roller. It was hard to find one that had a hair roller to catch hair with. And it seems like it won't be hard to clean once hair gets stuck along it over time. A little tip to people who don't know but vacuums without a hair roller don't pick up anything well at all. I don't know why they make them without one just to save manufacturer costs. They are definitely necessary, especially if you have pets. Overall, it is worth the price point, in my opinion. It has powerful suction power for its size. A reliable brand.

Good sucktion, has attachments for furniture and tight spaces, designed as an AIO cleaning machine. It has a twist-lock movable hose that is a decent length for the attachments. Comes with a small rotating brush attachment for furniture and the like. Easy to change from one configuration to another due to having tool-less twist lock attachments and a dual prose hose. The attachments all have a place to sit on the frame when not in use, so it's all right there while you're working with it. I owned the previous model of this vacuum. It lasted 5 years and had to be disassembled to clean the upper part of the dirt tank. That was a pain. When the old one breathed its last breath, i bought this updated one. Same model number, but greatly improved. They changed the design in several areas, all good improvements over the previous one. It will cost you about $30 US annually if this one lasts as long as the previous model. With the improved design, this will likely last longer. You can buy a kit with filters, belts, extra screws, etc. A maintenance kit, basically, for very little money here on Amazon. I bought one for the older model and still have some stuff left in it. They left the base design the same in the sense that the older parts work in this layer model. Bissel makes great products IMO. This vacuum isn't my only experience with Bissell over the past 20y or so. This is a nearly full sized vacuum cleaner, don't let the pictures or price fool you! I one owned a Kirby. It cost me $1,300 in 1990 dollars. It did everything. Was a professional quality carpet cleaner, vacuum, floor polisher, and some other things I don't remember, I'm sure. But for roughly $100, this Bissell doesn't shampoo carpets but does a lot. It's not made of steel, but its still quite durable. It also doesn't weigh 42lbs like the Kirby, it's probably about 6 or 7lbs This vacuum is good enough for 5y+ in any small to medium home. If you live in a mansion, buy a Kirby for your maid. Other than that, this Bissell will do what you need. Heavy usage in a large home, IDK. I live in a 2br apartment new and this vacuum is the best I've owned since that old Kirby. But it.

I finally found MY perfect vacuum. I have plush piled area rugs, LVP flooring, along with flat runners. My old vacuum could not do the job, with only one setting. It was also heavy to lug around. This one is very lightweight, and easy to manuever. It has 3 settings, to adjust for floors, rugs, and high piled rugs too! I am very pleased with this purchase, and I recommend it for not only the elderly, such as myself, but for everyone! Also, the suction is very powerful as well! Emptying the bin is also so easy.
