I desperately needed to clean the carpet in my one-bedroom apartment (3 cats and a lot of visitors). I owned the Bissell spot cleaner and love it, but obviosuly it’s not meant for doing a large areas and there was no way I was going to get on the ground and slowly do a tiny section at a time. I looked into renting an industrial carpet cleaner from a store, but it’s expensive, I didn’t like the idea that they’ve been used by other people and potentially not cleaned thoroughly, and they’re huge. So I looked for something that was a decent size but not so big my 5’ body couldn’t carry myself. After doing a significant amount of research and comparing, I landed on this one that ticked off most of my boxes. It’s light, same size as my vacuum, easy to clean, efficient, and it sucks up enough water that the carpet doesn’t stay soaked for days (maybe a few hours or overnight). My only qualm is that the clean tank and dirty tank are small, but this also means they’re easy to empty and fill back up; just means doing it two or 3 times to clean a whole room. They’re also clear so you can easily tell when it’s time to replace. I really like the handle on the dirty tank too! No dripping either. Worth every penny!

Ok, this thing is powerful. Its easy to use and it's suction power is insane.. I cleaned my carpets a month ago using an older model maybe 15 yrs old) that crapped out on me so I bought this one and it's digging up dirt that the old one didn't remove, and I'm shocked at the amount of dirt it's pulled up. It also doesn't over saturate the carpets, I used it 5 hours ago and they're already completely dry. Highly recommend. And love that it comes with shampoo that aren't overly smelly..

This carpet cleaner was easier to use than I thought. It got the carpet really clean. CLEANING FLUID Bissell makes several types of cleaning fluid. I used “Pet Pro Oxy Urine Eliminator”. Make sure you get the kind for upright carpet cleaners. (There is a similar fluid for spot cleaners.) It was about $22 at Walmart and seems like enough for about 4 rooms. It has a pleasant smell. There was a small sample size cleaning fluid included in the package with the carpet cleaner, but it will not be enough for what you need. INSTRUCTIONS The carpet cleaner comes with a small booklet of instructions. This is good, but it’s even better to go to the website they specify in the booklet and watch the videos. The videos gave me confidence that I knew what to do. THE PROCESS 1. As they tell you, you need to vacuum the carpet before you start cleaning. 2. You fill the clean water tank with hot tap water and then put in some cleaning fluid. There are lines on the tank for the water and for the fluid. 3. The cleaning is a lot like vacuuming. You make one pass holding the spray lever so it sprays the carpet. Then you make a pass without holding the lever, so the machine just sucks up the water into the dirty water tank. In the video it shows the person doing this 2 step process with every pass of the machine. But I found it a lot easier to do a whole row of “wet” swipes with the lever pressed, and then go over the whole row again with “dry” passes. That saves a lot of switching back and forth. I did the whole wet/dry thing twice with each section of carpet. Afterwards, I took the clean water tank off and just passed over everything dry to suck up more water. But I didn’t get a lot more water sucked up, so I don’t think this step is really necessary. 4. As others mentioned, the machine does spit out some clumps of pet hair onto the carpet. But it was just a few big clumps that were easy to pick up with my hand. I didn’t really mind. It’s worth it for how easy the process was. 5. The carpet was damp when done but not sopping wet. It was drier than I thought, and it probably will dry completely in a day or two. AREA RUGS I had 2 big area rugs on top of the carpet, and I was wondering how that would work. It went fine. They were washable rugs anyway. The rugs got clean. I don’t think the carpet underneath the area rugs got cleaned. I think you would have to remove the area rugs to clean the carpet underneath. The carpet under the area rugs did get a little damp, so I am not sure how well it will dry. I may have to pick up the area rugs a little to let the carpet dry underneath. TIPS 1. If you are taking a break between rooms, put the carpet cleaner on a floor, not a rug. After taking a break, there was quite a wet spot under the cleaner. I guess I could have taken the water tanks off instead. 2. Be sure to follow the instructions for cleaning the machine when you are done. It’s not hard, but you have to rinse the tanks and stuff and wipe off the pet hair. They don’t tell you this, but be sure to turn the machine over and wipe the pet hair off the bottom. Also wipe out the pet hair from the area where the brushes are. RESULTS I got a new dog that was not house-trained, so she peed on the carpet a lot at first. I did treat the stains with Nature’s Miracle, but there were still some stains and smell. I could see the stains with my black light flashlight. After cleaning, there was no more smell, and I could see hardly any stains with the black light. I did still see a couple, but I got close and smelled them and there was no smell. I’m sure future cleanings will get rid of the rest of the residue. Or maybe I should have done more than 2 passes. But I didn’t have the patience for more, and everything seems very clean. I am very happy with the results. This is a really good cleaner. It is lightweight and easy to use. The price is very reasonable. To me, it’s a lot better to have my own cleaner than to have to rent one or to get a professional carpet cleaning. This way, I can do it as often as I want. They really do make the whole process pretty easy.

I got this after having to take my last vacuum apart. This one is easy to use and light weight. It's swivel is nice until your trying to do stairs. The attachments are nice for getting corners and along walls. They are not really great with stairs. It worked well on carpet and linoleum. Very easy to clean I can get take the filter/ storage system apart and clean it with water. It's easy to clean the underside as well. It does well with my medium carpets and light rugs. I have two dogs one short fur and one with longer and double coat. It picks those up well. I can clear a room or two before empty. And that's becuaee I think it looks full the vacuum still shows green for it's ability to clean.

Play Video Vacuum cleaner is very light and easy to use. I was able to vacuum two floors of carpet with it very easily. It never got hard to push. When you have to lightly service it, if you’re cleaning your whole house with it at once, you can hear the difference between when it needs the debris wiped up and the filter Hosed out and when it’s running normally. As you can tell from the video, I did let my young child model how light it is to use After I cleaned my living room with it. I will echo what everybody else says: the clean water part is really small, so every room you will have to refill it. But water is heavy, and so with how light and easy this is to use, it’s not bad even with that. You hold down the sprayer on the handle to get cleaner mixed with water on the carpet and then you let go to suck up the water. So it won’t clean stairs or anything like that. When you’re done, it’s about five minutes to rinse everything out and wipe it down. You don’t need a degree in engineering to service it, which is really nice because the last thing you want after shampooing carpets, is to spend an hour cleaning the vacuum cleaner. Make sure you flip the vacuum over and take paper towels and wipe everything down. This is the first time I’ve used it, I will update the review if my opinion changes. I shampoo the carpets once a month, so it’ll be used a lot.

excelente producto, me sorprendió el nivel de limpieza que ofrece, el agua sale negra de los tapetes y los deja como nuevos. Vale cada peso, muy muy muy muy recomendable.

Where has this been my whole life? Sure I've rented carpet cleaners from the store, but this one blows them out of the water. A lot of the bad reviews I've seen, along with using the machine myself, and I conclude that the majority are user error. Here's my thoughts. Keep in mind, everyone's needs are different. So read the reviews to coincide with what YOU need. Upon opening, it was extremely easy to put together. If you're familiar with the Bissell Little Green Portable Cleaner, then you'll have no issue. If not, it's still very simple with only a few pieces to click together. I knew this machine had a smaller tank, but that is something that I could overlook. Remember how long your tank lasts will greatly depend on how you use it and how dirty your carpet is. I started with my area rug - this one was super dirty so I spent a bit more time on it. I used 2 tanks to do my 5x8 rug. There are water and formula lines on the tank when filling, but you can get away with using half the amount of formula it calls for and still get the same results. Now onto the upstairs. My second floor is completely carpeted, so I took my 2 feral children up with me and prepared myself for what I thought would be a new Olympic sport. I started with my daughters room (master bedroom) and it's a fair size. I was able to use about 1.5 tanks on this. 1 tank for the smaller bedroom, and 2 tanks for main area (pictured with dog). I was really impressed actually. I did my main landing twice and the water came out black both times. I mean we're not dirty people by any means, but this machine made me second guess that. A few things to note: - You need to vacuum well before you clean. That being said, this magic machine pulled dirt and dog hair from the depths of the earth. You'll see reviews that it sometimes spits out hair. And yes, it did with me too. But I'd rather be picking it up off the carpet than picking it out of the machine. I was fascinated with how much hair it managed to get out even after vacuuming. - I've seen reviews that it doesn't dry good, which is not the case. The suction on this thing is actually very good. You need to do multiple passes without spraying. I do passes until I don't see any more water being sucked up, and I was super impressed with how dry it got. The carpet overall felt dry 30 mins after finishing. - I'd like to see the people who are saying this is heavy?! The only weights I lift are my kids and groceries and I had zero trouble. I've had vacuums heavier than this thing. Yes, the water adds weight, obviously. Any machine will. The more weight, the more water will get sucked up. This is not an issue. - The more you spray, the more you use. I did one spray passing slowly but not too slowly forward and back, and the tank lasted me quite a while. Once you get into it, you find a groove of how much you need to use. Could the tank be a bit bigger? Yes, but for me this is not a deal breaker. I don't mind doing a few extra fills and dumps. Also it will not leak if you're using it properly. - Cleaning the machine afterwards is fairly easy. Best thing I've found to do is to let the bottom dry and vacuum it out afterwards. Would I recommend this to people? 100%. You can't beat the price for what you get. It's a yes from me.

This product blew our electricity. Different voltage to Ireland. Amazon should have known this. Product was also broken. I was sure I ordered from Amazon.EU. Amazon Warehouse arrived. We are now being asked to fund the return to Amazon. Product was also broken. First time ever being disappointed by Amazon's response. Not the fault of the customer service agents I dealt with. They were lovely. Have had an account for nearly 20 years.
