I have been using this pole for my shower curtain for a few months now and it is working well. It was very easy to install and adjust. It works against the shower tiles, though I imagine the ends could leave a mark if used on wallpaper or a painted wall. The shower curtain is very light so I am unsure how it would fare with a heavier curtain.
