The floodlight/camera installation was fast and easy. The only issue I encountered was during the app's connection process. It would only go halfway through "seeing" the camera, but then stated it could not connect to the device. After two days of trying, I finally broke down and called their customer service. It seems the one important warning that is not mentioned anywhere (including FAQ/Help page) is you need to turn off your phone's mobile data before trying to add the camera to the app's devices. Once I did that, I connected in seconds. The camera works great and floodlights brightly lights up the area.

We previously had other home cameras installed, they were smart cameras that plugged in and had to be mounted separate from the lights. So there were tons of wires. These cameras are attached to the lights and are hardwired in so its 1 product vs having a camera and light fixture and separate plug. It is much less stuff on the outside of my house and looks cleaner. The cameras look no different than my previous light fixtures that had the motion detection on them. The lights are adjustable but they are prettybright, there is no hiding in the shadows when they come on. The app allows you to adjust the motion sensitivity, and how long the camera records and/or light stays on when motion is detected. You can also set the lights to come on at dusk and off at dawn. My only complaint would be that there are no capabilities to have schedules within the app for the lights to come on and off at a certain time and then be triggered by motion. It would be nice to have the lights on until I got home and then switch to motion. With my previous smart lights I had the capability to set them to a schedule and then to motion after 9PM. My previous smart lights however would lose connection to the wifi and would come on when the power dropped or surged which was frustrating to have to wait for them to reconnect and then shut them off. These lights/camera you can set and forget. I have had no issues with them losing connectivity. THe isntallation process was easy, they even have a little hook to hang while you are wiring the light so you aren't trying to wire and hold it at the same time, very convenient. Installation was very easy. The QR code is on the fixture itself but they also include a QR code in the box to scan. Cameras are fully adjutable and can be mounted on the eave or wall. I didn't see many pictures with these mounted on the eaves, but I have had no issues and the website does say you can mount that way. The camera picture is phenomenal, its a wide angle and captures everything. We were able to replace all of our outdoor fixtures with these, increase the cameras we have so our entire property is covered by cameras and the lights are much brighter than our ould lights, plus we have less clutter on the eaves/walls. One of my best home improvement purchases. Would highly recommend.

Love my Blink wired floodlight camera. It's nice not having to worry about batteries. Great video at night or during the day. Love that I can adjust the brightness of the light. I can manually turn the flood light on and off. You can also have it turn on & off automatically as well. Siren is loud!! Set up on the Blink App was super easy as I already have an account with cameras for that same property set up. Husband easily installed the floodlight camera. Highly recommend!!

My system consists of multiple Sync hubs and 10+ cameras and covers a physically large area with the help of a WiFi mesh router system. As a way to look at various parts of the property, the system is ok. But I regret purchasing because although very inexpensive, the system is quite limited. I say this for the following reasons- -Scheduling can be done but is only available across ALL cameras on a given sync module. -Using one camera to trigger another is impossible. -Camera trigger time lag is a significant issue: Both the delivery drivers and my spouse are consistently nearly outside or outside the frame of view of the camera looking at the driveway entrance before the video begins. If you are attempting to catch time-sensitive or quick events, I advise caution. -observation showed that the AC powered cameras’ nighttime illumination was always on after dark and apparently visible to several nighttime animals (near IR?). This illumination can be turned off but renders the camera blind after dark in most cases. -if the local Blink camera system, I.e. sync module, loses internet connection, accessing the cameras, even when local, is impossible (our internet service isn’t the fastest or most reliable which highlights system weaknesses) -The camera system should not be considered a real-time security system. Bottom line- extremely inexpensive up-front cost, easy to set up, easy to use, but limited in capability and useless without internet connection.
