This excellent sound bar replaces a Samsung I've had for many years. The remote no longer functions. The Bose is easy to set up via optical cable. Sound quality is superior. I do not have the subwoofer which is damned expensive. $499 for the 500 series Bass Module. The base is excellent..too much so at the top of its range. There is more than enough volume and is perfectly clear. This is an excellent choice and I'm very happy with my Bose TV speaker/soundbar.

I have this connected via eARC to a Sony K55XR80. I will never use Bluetooth to play music on this device so have no idea how it is. This speaker is perfect for me because it is exactly what I needed - a TV speaker that doesn't sound muddy. I have seen some people say that this device sounds tinny, I disagree, I would call it more like bright. I think they made it that way on purpose because that clarity (not loudness, clarity) in higher frequencies is exactly what people who have a difficult time catching all of the dialogue need. I clearly hear the pronunciation of words much better through this soundbar. Whether I have the dialogue booster thingy turned on or not, I really don't notice any difference, it always sounds great to me. No more missed words, it makes a world of difference in movies. My poor old brain flows right along. Ears hear it all without having to try. I have fooled around with it some and always end up just running it at default factory settings. It handles everything perfectly for my taste. I like how the little bit of bass it has sneaks out at just the right moments, it is not loud but it sounds just fine. I never really crank up the volume so everything always sounds clear and distortion free. So much better than any TV speaker I have ever experienced. Night and day. The audio tweaks I make are all on the TV side of things, and everything works just great. Totally recommend. Fingers crossed it lasts a long time. Way to go, Bose! thanks for a great product.

Recently replaced my bedroom TV. Unfortunately, it only had HDMI eARC connection so could no longer use my old Bose with the optical connector. The TV had a decent pic but the sound quality was definitely lacking, so I replaced my soundbar with this newer Bose because it had the right hook up. From out of the box to complete set up took less than 10 minutes. My TV automatically switched to the soundbar and the improvement was night and day. Love the rich clear sound of Bose. Dialog is easy to understand regardless of background noise and you can adjust the bass to your preference. It’s got a sleek compact design that integrates with the TV perfectly. Great value for the money.

This is an OK sound bar but like an earlier review mentioned, I also have been a big Bose fan for decades and they have developed some of the greatest innovations in sound and packages. I had higher hopes for this when I hooked it up. Like I mentioned, its a good product but doesn't give you the Bose wow factor. I am keeping it. It also looks like it would be a good size to put in an RV. I also just bought a pair of Bose quiet comfort headphones and those definitely live up to the Bose name. They are awesome.

This Bose TV Speaker has pretty good sound quality for the tv because it does sound better than the tv speakers and better volume and the speech is a little clearer, but that's about as far as it goes. I purchased this sound bar after looking at many, but mostly because I have been a Bose fan for many decades and in the days of them becoming to where they are now everything was exceptional until I received this product. Bose dropped the ball on this one and seem to be living now off their name of top-quality products and service in the past and you know what starts to happen when you cut back on the quality, you start to lose your long time customers and no repurchase's from most new ones so business starts to decline, and we all know what has happened to big companies in the past. You charge high dollars so put back in the quality you use too. For two days I have been trying to get a simple question answered from them and no response. After purchasing this product, I have come to realize the only subwoofer I can add to this sound bar which has poor bass, is programed only for their brand, and their cheapest woofer starting at $500.00 plus, that is ridicules. The Bluetooth is version is 4.2, that came out around 2011 or 12 so outdated, much cheaper brands even have the newer versions, heck the remote is not even Bluetooth! You have to make sure no other devices have Bluetooth on to connect to a single device you want par and listen two, a lot of others allow two at once so you can switch back and forth. There is absolutely no way to turn on or control the sound bar if you lose the remote, battery goes bad or if the remote goes bad, but we all know that does not happen now does it? For a 300-dollar soundbar especially from Bose I expected more, half was for the name and the other half for the actual worth of the unit and to get more bass I need to spend over $500.00 more when other top brand units come with a sound bar for under $300.00. I should be able to connect other subwoofer brands to this unit but from all my checking only a couple of people have gotten lucky, I have two and neither one will work with this unit when I connected them, so It's kind of like I gotcha from Bose if you want to upgrade your sound bar for $500.00 plus more to Bose. Yes, looks like this one is going back to Bose. Update: I decided to keep the speaker even as disappointed as I am with this so outdated speaker and mine was made in 2023 and then 28 days after using it just stopped working after being on for about a hour and a half, it only blinks the two lights white 3 times and turns the tv side light green and does this over and over again and will not turn off unless you unplug it, plug it back up and light off a couple of minutes then automatically turns back on and starts the same process over and over, So much for quality Bose I did not even get a months' worth of use and thank goodness I had two days left to return, never again for me Bose. Service is nonexistent never got a answer for a simple question I sent earlier so just imagine how it is with a real problem.

Wanted a simple auto solution to TV audio. Paired with LG Oled TV. It works seamlessly and syncs to power on and off. Great clarity for dialogue and still has bass adjustments. If you aren’t looking for large home theatre package I would highly recommend this unit.

Tengo pantalla de alta gama y aún asà recomiendo un sonido alterno, pensé que era una opción para iniciar y no me equivoqué, obvio ahora busco un home theater, pero de entrada está super
