We bought this Brita pitcher with the Elite filter to protect against contaminants like microplastics and PFAS, and we’re really happy with it! Cleaner Tasting Water: Right from the start, the water tasted noticeably better—clean, fresh, and without that “tap water” aftertaste. It’s reassuring to know it’s filtering out some of the potentially harmful stuff. Advanced Filtration: The Elite filter targets things like PFAS and microplastics, which is exactly why we chose this model. Perfect for anyone concerned about what might be lurking in unfiltered water. Filter Change Light: We love the indicator light! It takes the guesswork out of when to replace the filter, which is super convenient and ensures we’re always drinking fresh, filtered water. Good Capacity: The pitcher holds enough for a family, so we’re not constantly refilling it. It’s compact enough for the fridge but provides a good amount of filtered water throughout the day. Easy to Use and Replace Filters: Setup was simple, and replacement filters are easy to find, which is always a plus. If you’re looking for an effective and user-friendly water filter to improve quality and reduce exposure to common contaminants, I’d highly recommend this pitcher. It’s been a great addition to our kitchen!

Let me start by saying that this was my first Brita and I am extremely happy with this purchase. However, there are some easy mistakes to be made here -- some of which I noticed in other reviews -- and I want to share a few things I learned through the purchase and initial setup process. The most important piece of information I can relay to you is that if you are looking at the 10 Cup Pitcher, there are actually two different models at the same price. I picked the wrong one and it wasn't until I read a review that I realized I should have picked the newer version. Fortunately, I was able to cancel and re-order. The newer version you want is the Pitcher with the SmartLight. You'll notice owners who just purchased their Brita ask why the indicator light is not included. The SmartLight is pretty darn important as it keeps track of the life of your filter, reminding you when it's time to replace it. The next important piece of information I want to share is how much water can be filled in this pitcher. If you read the instructions, it tells you to fill the water to the fill line (there is a tab with a fill line in the top reservoir). If that was all you did, you would notice that you only have 6 cups of water instead of 10. What I didn't realize until I contacted Brita is that you can keep filling the Pitcher after the initial. I measured out 10 cups which took almost two fills. You'll know that you have the measurement right as the water should reside 1 inch below the round part of the top reservoir. Inserting the Elite filter was simple. Just be certain to line up the plastic tabs in the reservoir with the slots in the filter. You should have a snug fit. Push down to make certain it's airtight. Though the Brita is not the best-rated water filter out there (that would go to Zero Water), the new Elite filter lasts 6 months, effectively removes more contaminants than ever before, and as such, situates itself as the best bang-for-the-buck brand. Keep in mind Brita does not filter out fluoride. As someone who is not a fan of the taste of tap water, I was extremely surprised by how good the filtered water tasted. I have finally gotten to the point where I can stop buying expensive cases of plastic bottled water every month, relying solely on my Brita pitcher. One more thing I should add: Customer support is fantastic. I phoned to ask them about how much water can be put in the Pitcher. They answered the phone immediately and were very helpful in answering my question. Don't hesitate to purchase this Brita Pitcher.

As someone deeply concerned about my father's health and environmental impact, I gifted him the Brita Everyday Elite Water Filter Pitcher—and it's been a game-changer. The moment he started using it, he was impressed by how dramatically it improved his tap water's taste and quality. The large 10-cup capacity means fewer refills, and the intuitive SmartLight filter change indicator takes the guesswork out of maintenance. What truly sets this pitcher apart is its impressive filtration performance. By reducing 99% of lead and other contaminants, it provides a level of water purification that gives me genuine peace of mind. The BPA-free construction is an additional reassurance, ensuring that no harmful chemicals leach into the water. Its sleek white design seamlessly integrates into his kitchen, proving that health-conscious products can also be aesthetically pleasing. The six-month filter life is incredibly convenient, making this not just a health investment but also a cost-effective solution compared to constantly purchasing bottled water. My father, who was initially skeptical, now recommends this pitcher to all his friends. For anyone looking to improve their water quality, reduce plastic waste, and simplify their hydration routine, the Brita Everyday Elite is an outstanding choice.

works great. it holds plenty of water for me. my 5 cup brita doesn't hold enough water in the fill reservoir to replace the 32oz i pour into my tumbler. this 10 cup one does. it has a bigger pitcher and reservoir. no complaints

I like the pitcher except for the light on the battery filter indicator. After only two months it now flashes green and red. I put in a new filter, and I pressed the reset buttons, and it's still flashing green and red. I don't like it. Why bother with this extra high tech gadget? I will mark in my calendar when I think I need a new filter. That's easy. I'm not stupid. Who wants a battery in their water pitcher anyway? I don't. I only got this cause it's a very highly rated filter pitcher. Please make one without a battery or a light. It's gratuitous. Disappointed.

Easy to use, quick to filter, big enough capacity so I would recommend All I would say is there are only two of us probably not drinking enough water lol and the filter lasted 4 months. Wish it was easier to get the replacements in the UK too - couldn't find on Amazon. Brita UK is a different franchise and basically their water filters and jugs are a waste of time - they don't filter out any contaminants - just make the water 'taste better' whatever that means!

The idea to go for Elite is no more frequent filter replacement. But it’s meaningless if the indicator doesn’t work. The indicator light was completely off after less than 3 months (most likely end of battery life).

Click to play video Bought it in place of a bottle as I stay most of the time near my office room and cant go every often to the kitchen for the water. And also to filter out bad particles like lead from water. Works as expected for me but as its a bigger pitcher it weighs more. Pros: - 10 cup - Large capacity - Came with long lasting filter - the indicators for filter replacement is good, looks better than the lower models Cons: The construction might not be well - when holding on full I feel like it might break. No equal distribution of weight I felt. Conclusion: fits the purpose, comes with long lasting filter and is very good price. Suggestion: be careful when using, if not used with care it might get a crack.
