-Update- It's now July 21st and a few kinds of flowers have been blooming. The patch I planted along with sunflowers didn't work out so well and ended up pulling most of them except the ones right in front, my fault for planting too many sunflowers too close together. I just extended that area at the end and put some more seeds down and they are already sprouting. But the ones I planted to hide the gas meters are coming along great, those things really took off and some are over 3' tall. I actually had to thin alot out since I put down too much seed, there were so many flowers they were falling over themselves. I pulled all the vine type ones that have white flowers and just kept them in the front so they spill over onto the lawn. The colors are amazing, whites, blues, red, yellow, and these bright pinks. And most haven't even bloomed yet. This area only gets about 4hrs direct sun a day due to being so close to the house. If I doesn't rain in a few days I'll just get out my 2 gallon watering can and give them a good drink. I'll feed them with the Miracle Grow plant food once a week. -Update- It's now June 23rd about one month since putting the seeds down and they are growing like crazy filling in everything. I think I made a mistake planting these with my sunflowers, the sunflowers are getting so huge that there leaves block out most of the sun underneath them so the flowers aren't getting much sun. I also planted the sunflowers too close to eachother. I went to water them with a watering can and alot of the flowers flopped over, they were tall and lanky. I went in and pulled most of the taller flowers out and just left the short ones. I pulled handfuls and still have alot left. I also made the mistake of throwing grass seed down before I had the brilliant idea to plant flowers instead, I had tried to rake out the grass seed prior to putting the flower seeds down but from the photos I see I didn't do such a good job and there's alot of grass growing too. As you can see I have no idea what I'm doing. But I can say these flower seeds are good to go, I can see alot of different types of flowers growing though have no idea what they are. I'm even seeing the 1st flowers already showing, little white flowers. Next time I'll plant these flowers by themselves so they receive full sun instead of them being in shade like they are now. I'm still happy since it seems some of these flowers don't mind shade and are flowering already. I got these wildflowers to plant with sunflowers in my back yard. The area was never really taken care of and full of weeds so I pulled all the weeds out then turned over the dirt with a shovel. It was mostly dry sandy dirt so I added a few bags of Miracle Grow garden soil and mixed it up good. I had some sunflowers already growing in cups so I transplanted those first then sprinkled this wildflower seed mix over the dirt and pressed it in with the back of a garden rake so the seeds hopefully wouldn't easily wash away. I watered the area daily, sometimes twice a day to keep the soil moist but not soaked. It's now 12 days since planting and there's alot of flowers sprouting and growing. I think I spread too much, I used the entire bag and the area is only about 3'x15'. There's alot of sprouts growing clumped together so hopefully they will thin themselves out or I'll have to go in and thin them out by hand. I'm very happy so far that they are growing which means the seeds are good. If something happens to them then it's probably my fault, either screwing up with watering or fertilizing. I shouldn't of spread the entire bag down in such a small area since my sunflowers are growing huge already, it's already getting crowded in there. I'll try to remember to update as the flowers grow.

I planted these in the spring and am still waiting for them to flower or really do anything. Not fast blooming and definitely no bees. UPDATE I WAS WRONG! This is what they looked like in September/October in SC. They attracted bees, butterfly’s, hummingbirds and more! Just be patient! They will take time but will grow!!! 🩷

Play Video Background: i live in a 6a-6b planting zone and ordered the hummingbird and butterfly wildflower mix. I planted them on May 24th and in less than 30 days, you can see in my first picture just how much the seeds have grown. The second photo I posted is only 17 days later. And we’re starting to see some budding! Prep: I broke up the existing soil using a shovel and garden bow rake and got rid of any weeds and other miscellaneous debris, layed down cardboard (which acts as my weed barrier) and soaked the flower bed and cardboard with my hose. The cardboard will decompose over several months at which point, there will be a nice layer of compost. Next, I combined fresh, in-ground purpose flower soil with potting soil mix, spread it out ontop of the wet cardboard, took my seeds and generously distributed them throughout the flower bed. Quality: These seeds specifically, germinate VERY quickly and within a week of planting them, seedlings started popping up all over the flowerbed. My flowerbed does not get full sun; it gets sun in the morning and is completely in the shade by early afternoon (12pish). I have Watered the seeds/flowerbed regularly and consistently. We’ve also had SOOO much heavy rain this last month but ooooh boy did all that rain really boost the growth of these seeds Conclusion as of 7.8.2023: I absolutely LOVE the concept of chaos gardening - it’s easy, is not time consuming, is inexpensive, perfect beginners DIY project - incredibly low maintenance, and I love the element of surprise when it comes to waiting to see what kind of flowers or colors will come of it. I HIGHLY recommend this product and will absolutely be purchasing more in the future. I’ll update my review in another month and include photos! Suggestions: read the directions carefully and water CONSISTENTLY. Every day. Unless you’ve just had significant rainfall. That’s pretty much it. Again, this project is very low maintenance from start to finish.

I wanted to update my review to be fair. It took 2.5-3 months for flowers to bud and bloom. They are beautiful. It is mid-Dec, and there are still flowers blooming in the garden. These seeds were planted in zone 8b up north, fyi. In cooler climates, these seeds take longer to germinate and flower. I recommend this product, just be aware that the flowers make take 3 months to arrive. Happy gardening :) old review-- I planted these seeds mid-May 2024. After 2 months, only green sprouts grew with no flowers. I agree with other reviewers who experienced similar results. I do not recommend this product, and I will not be buying this item again.

I planted these with the thought - "well if they bloom great but probably won't." boy was I wrong!!!!! I have had sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, bachelors buttons, alyssum, to name a few! So many blooms - it is Sept and they have been blooming at least since the end of July. I spread these seeds in a new bed I made mid-summer around our utility box so it would maybe be less of an eyesore. I can now look out my window and smile instead of roll my eyes at the green box sitting in the front of our house, lol. There has been a crazy amount of pollinator activity on the blooms - I have cut several zinnias to use in arrangements and still had plenty of blooms in the garden. So happy and will plant again next season. I am letting these go to seed, so hopefully they come back in the spring!! :)

I used this mix a seeds to make wedding favours. They turned out beautifully. I planted the seeds a year later and absolutely stunning. Great variety. I even had people reach out and ask where I got the seeds.

Beautiful flowers some as tall as 4 feet high with very little maintenance with a mixture of vibrant colours. Fills in very nicely with few bare spots in the flowerbed.
