This sleep sack is soft and warm but itâs (comically) long. My daughter is long and skinny so I ordered based off her height according to the size chart, I easily could have ordered the next size down and been perfectly fine. Itâs beautiful though! Itâs a cotton fabric and is quilted like a standard comforter, but still seems easy enough to move around in. The zipper opens from the bottom (think reverse of a jacket) so I know there is no way she will be able to unzip it (either by accident or intentionally).

My daughter has slept in Burtâs Bees sleep sacks since the day she was born. Literally. Sheâs 13 months old now and the first time she wore one was her first night at the hospital. I love the material with how warm and soft it is. The pattern is beautiful and the sizing is perfect.

Fabric is so soft and becomes softer with every wash. Washes and dries well. Runs a little big which is fine because it makes it ever cozier. As other reviewers mentioned, the zipper can be difficult, especially if putting on the sleep sack while in a dark environment. Iâm still giving it five stars, because I have gotten used to it after a couple months. Love everything Burtâs Bees not only because it gives me peace of mind that it is a nontoxic fabric, but also because they are decently priced. Have a couple of these sleep sacks because none of the other brands can compare to how comfy they are. For reference: baby is now eight months and we have been using these since he was almost six months, when he was transferred out of the Snoo.

Our daughter loved being swaddled, and was a struggle to get her out of them (even trying one arm at a time). This was what she needed! It was enough to still feel the soft comfort around her body, her feet could press against it as she could in the swaddle, and was light enough for the upcoming seasons (spring, summer, and fall) (we purchased the light tog). The sizing was perfect, and has still continued to be a suitable fit for 7 months now. I purchased this on sale, and was worth every penny!

I was indecisive about which pattern to get, but I wanted to see the quality of these before buying two. I ended up going with the Dinosaur pattern which is so adorable. I didnât notice in the pictures, but there are tiny bumble bees flying by the Dinoâs! The organic cotton is softer than I expected. I was worried about the thickness, not wanting it to be too hot or too cold. This week, every night has hit the negative digits, with chill warnings. Tonight itâs -8° F, in Colorado. I put my son in this Beekeeper, over a pair of fleece pajamas, and it feels perfect. I can only compare it to a high quality comforter. I would definitely recommend and will be buying the other pattern that I liked. SIZING: I didnât know if I should order the Small (0-6 months), or the Medium (6-12 months). For reference, my son is currently 5 months old, weighing 15 lbs, and 25â long. Due to his measurements, rather than his age, I decided to go with the Medium. The Small would have only allowed him 1â of extra space in length. Iâm happy I ordered the Medium. It allows him an extra 5â of room at the bottom. It measures at 30â, giving him plenty of room to grow, yet the top fits him perfectly. I was worried it would be too big and therefore not safe. Yet, as I said the top fits him just right, so I feel good about him safely sleeping in it. I feel that this was a very reasonable price for a high quality item that my son will easily be able to wear for the next few months. *** RATING: The only reason I took off one âïž is due to a stain/marking of some sort on the material. Please see photos for reference, it appears to be something like blue pen ink. At first, I thought it was part of the pattern, as you can see there are a few splashes of color here and there. However, after further examination it is the only mark in a distinct blue color, unlike like gray and green splashes included in the design. Iâm not even sure how blue pen ink could get on it, seeing as itâs sealed in plastic. It can be opened and resealed, which makes me wonder if someone opened it, saw the stain or stained it themselves, and returned it? Either way, Burtâs Beeâs obviously didnât exam or notice the ink spot. Iâm sure itâs nothing to worry about when ordering. TLDR; I just wanted to explain that my removal of one star is not due to the item itself, rather the accidental pen ink that ended up on the Beekeeper. As far as the actual item- âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž all the way around for quality, warmth, softness, value, pattern, etc.

We were gifted one of these in light weight, size small, along with several other hand me downs from friends. I preferred the way this fits to the others we've got- especially the extra room for kicking and rolling. So we bought two of these in medium (one in the warmer weight and one in the lighter weight). They're very soft and roomy. I would recommend for restless kickers and rollers.

I have been an absolute fan of Burt's Bees products for the longest time. We particularly love their sleep sacks for our little ones. They don't shrink in the wash, they fit perfectly, they are really soft and comfortable plus the designs are really cute! We have gotten the quilted version for this one and I really happy with the warmth of it for this winter season. The color and design is vibrant and super cute! Overall I definitely think you get a great product for your money!
