They do have a strange smell at first but once out of the package it goes away. Also they do stick together so it was time consuming to peak then apart. There are various colors between straight red and red with a tinge of black ombré at the base. Worked great for the photos I captured using my phone.

Love em. Crush each stack in your hands and then rub the stack between your fingers and they separate like butter. Sprayed them with perfume and shook em up in a bag. He’s going to love Feb 14th

Bought these petals for a romantic surprise. Overall they accomplished their desired purpose of looking cute and not decomposing over time. However, do not be fooled; no decomposing does not mean you are safe from the smell. Opening the bag was perhaps on of the worse experiences of my life. The stench was absolutely terrible. Imagine a dumpster of week old fish, now take that dumpster and feed it to a whale and beach the whale for 10 days in the California sun before its insides come spewing out. The was the smell of one individual petal and each package is 2200. Best solution: take the petals and dump them into a bucket of warm water and detergent (it does help if you try peeling apart individual petals but it is not necessary) and then take all the pieces and put into a dryer bag and dry on low heat. The petals will now have no smell. Get a cheap perfume and spray the dryer bag thoroughly and now you have scented rose petals that do not smell like a sea lion just won a burping contest with a pelican.
