Absolutely love this stuff. It’s not thick or smelly and I put it on after my serum and moisturizer. You can put it on anytime and it doesn’t feel greasy. I have combination skin that is more mature and i’ve been using it for about two years. I also started using their moisturizer and my face has never been so soft. These are completely comparable with some of the most expensive products on the market and definitely worth a shot. I know there’s a bunch of stuff out there, but honestly, they all have the same things really. This is Korean skin care and in my opinion works the best on more fair skin. I would say it’s comparable to the Clinique dramatically, different yellow, moisturizing lotion and as gentle, but way cheaper and not greasy. I let my nine year-old use it and I think it’s a great light moisturizer.

I liked using the retinol! I didn't start out using it very often (like ~1 per week), but my skin seemed to tolerate it well (no irritation, no purging). The bottle is just very small and there's not that much retinol in there. But I think it's a nice 'beginner' retinol if it's something you want to try but don't want to commit to a really expensive/large amount! There is sooo much essence compared to the amount of retinol. It seems moisturizing when you first apply it, but I'm not sure it really added anything substantial to my daily skincare routine. So for these reasons, I think the essence is just fine (relatively cheap, but not a holy grail item). I think my fall/winter moisturizers still did the heavy-lifting when it came to providing all-day or all-night moisture protection to my skin. However, the essence itself is kinda fun. The texture is interesting. Sort of slimy at first but then it rubs in just fine. I do think you still need a moisturizer after applying the essence because there's kind of a weird texture sometimes with the essence (smooth and sort of leftover stickiness? idk, it goes away once I add a normal moisturizer on top). This did not put me off but maybe it'll be an issue for others. I cycle through different skincare routines depending on my skin needs so I'm still trying to get through my 2 bottles! I bought this back in October 2023 and I'm still on my first bottle.

This product is amazing! I usually don't write reviews, but this worked so well for me personally. It's simple. To the point. Gets the job done. I have worked for Aveda, Mac, Trish McEvoy, Nars and Nordstrom and this is my favorite skincare product to date. -There is no aroma at all. -It helped my skin in one application! I even use it on the back of my hands, neck, and problem areas. -It sinks in fairly quickly with a stunning dewy glow but without feeling greasy AT ALL. -A little goes a long way. -I have very sensitive skin and this not only didn't break me out... the blemishes I had when I started using this started to clear up within 24 hours! If anything changes over time (bc I did just get it), I will update this review. But until then, I can't recommend it enough!

I absolutely love this serum. My skin is very sensitive. Its so hydrating and makes my skin feel so good. Its looks little sticky but when you start applying it everyday then you get used to it. I noticed good results after applying it. Bottle size is good and I just apply a pea size drop and pat on my skin. This is my second bottle. Definitely recommend it.

Who knew snail slime was a thing? So, months ago I’m at the dermatologist getting microneedling on my forehead for a spot that lost collagen. My menopausal self had been in a two year whirlwind of on/off breakouts thanks to hormones acting a fool. She suggested retinol but my skin screamed louder every with one I tried, no matter how easy going I went. Then, she gave me a sample of snail mucin and said “try this.” Never have I ever had better skin. It’s the perfect thickness, like a serum really, super moisturizing and the appearance of old spots, scars, tone and texture is dramatically improved. Months later, not a single break out. Keeping it simple with a cleanser, snail goop, moisturizer during the day and barrier cream at night. This stuff is perfect for uber sensitive skin.

Top tier product. I have been using this product for 3 years, but ran out months ago and used another product for awhile. My skin was terrible those months without the snail music. I've found my skin is softer, poreless, hydrated and firm. I will never deter away from this product. Cosrx snail mucin is the holy grail for my dry skin.
