I love this thing. The placement of the joysticks feel nice. They take some getting used to if you’re used to the asymmetrical style. The first Nitro Deck+ I received had an issue with the Y button not working. I was able to get the product exchanged same day and the new one works perfectly. Make sure you follow all the setup instructions to ensure it works properly and definitely register your product with the app it comes recommends.

Like the previous one (nitro deck), that they released, this item is very good and very well built, actually there have been some changes to the overall layout and a few new additions. And What are the differences from the original? – Firstly, the right side has a different layout: specifically the right stick is now parallel to the left stick and therefore now you have to move your thumb down to reach the A/B/X/Y buttons basically turning your Nintendo switch into a hybrid steam deck of sorts (a unique steam deck only plays Nintendo games, 😅) – a new feature that has been added, that are bumper buttons that are next to the analog sticks function as A and B respectively, meanwhile, the back buttons are pre-programmed like the original model. And they function quite well Now let us get onto the main feature: unlike the previous model, this one can be docked to a TV screen! Granted you need to use the special adapter in the output outlet, but it works! Now depending on whether you plug this into a television with an HDMI port or you use the Genki shadow cast(original or 2, 2pro) you can still get it on your computer…. And if you’re close enough, you can actually use the device as a controller because it is technically wired as a direct controller just like the Nexigo Gripcon, and therefore, will be no input lag. Now, there is one slight flaw that shares with its predecessor…. It draws power from the unit itself, so expect shorter battery life in handheld mode. Of course, if you play this in dark mode, the battery will not be affected as much. Plus, if you have it docked in a switch dock, you can use this as a separate wire controller.(Theoretically) Do I recommend this? Honestly, if you don’t own any games use any of the NFC features, then I can totally recommend this, after all it has Gyro, It has mild rumble and more importantly there will be no lag with inputs.(just remember to enable pro wired controller settings.) Is it comfortable? Depends on your hand size. For big hands it’s OK as long as you remember the button layout on the side and the back.

Love the concept and overall fell. The remappable buttons feature is huge! The 6 extra buttons are great Heres where im indifferent Overall fit in the hand is off and awkward. The trigger need a hard stop that is adjustable not just the sensitivity. The right thumb stick swap is not working for me it makes the ABXY extremely awkward. Would love a nitro deck+ option with the thumb sticks in the original locations.

I was curious after seeing this on YouTube and Instagram. After seeing the savings of $10 here on Amazon I decided to grab one! It feels great in hands and does away from the crampiness of the smaller joycons! Set up was breeze and the companion app is easy to navigate and allow for easy button customization. Everything is responsive and clicky. The included hdmi converter works like a charm and does away with the eyesore of the OEM dock. I went with the + due to the stick placement as I thought it would be easier on the hands…. Here lies my only gripe as I was wrong about that. Using the face buttons forces you to have to lower your hand placement and that can feel awkward at times. But with some getting use to I think I’ll be ok. I ordered a normal nitro deck to feel the difference in placement so let’s see how that goes.

this is a must have if you like playing in handheld mode.Also great it you are traveling because it can be used as a docking station

I did return this product BUT only because my switch is broken at the usb port and would not accept this controller. It felt great in my large hands and with the new redesign of the thumb stick I really felt like it was meant to be for the switch all along. Highly recommend the programmable buttons and the feel of this unit. Must buy again!

The nitro + is way better than the original nitro deck. I play a lot of action games and need to access the right hand buttons without wandering too far from the joystick. The plus helps with that and the extra buttons really make the games so much more enjoyable and intuitive.

I would say my only criticism is the lack of Amiibo support. I don’t deal with any other aftermarket controllers. I only use CRKD controllers and decks now because their reliability and never having stick drift.

Llego un dia antes, lo compre a buen precio vendiendo y enviado por Amazon estados unidos. El pad se se de buena calidad. En mi caso tengo una switch oled de Pokémon Escarlata y Púrpura, y para evitar que se raye el diseño trasero que es lo que mas lees de este accesorio, porque trae relieve le puse papel contact negro para recubrir el panel trasero donde se deliza el switch. Quedo perfecto y ni se nota. Con mis pruebas vi que asi no raya la carcasa. Ahora para actualizarlo debes usar un celular que tenga NFC para que se conecte con lla aplicación. Creeme lo necesitas actualizar. La aplicación te dice los pasos. Algo que eh notado es que no despierta la consola. Si o si requiere el boton de encendido para despertar la consola. Y hasta el momento ah funcionado bien su respuesta es muy buena al estar conectado por el puerto C de la consola corre excelente. Antes de usarlo debes activar la opción de Establecer Comunicación por cable del control Pro como Activada, para que funcione si no pensaras que vino fallado. Digo lo dice el manual pero nadie lo lee. En fin es perfecto para gente adulta que usa el nintendo switch. Muy cómodo para los FPS.

I love this product so much, I'm on my second Nitro Deck+

I watched a lot of reviews on this product before I decided to buy it. I am not disappointed. It makes using my switch handheld so much easier as I am used to the analog sticks on a controller being at the same level. It has multiple buttons that can be programmed to whatever you want using an app. I had to try a few different configurations till I found what was most comfortable for me but it is so easy that it is not a problem. The stand on the back is much more sturdy than that if the switch itself. I went for the clear and white one and as purple is my favourite colour. I love the accents on the analog sticks. All in all great product with the accompanying app which makes it easy to have an external controller set up exactly how you want it.
