We had been storing wine in a small built in wine fridge and also at room temp, cause no more space on our wine cooler, but ordering a two cases of wine for the upcoming holidays pushed us to finally take better care of our wine and get a bigger fridge. We looked at everything, and finally settled on this quality, well-priced unit, believe me we look locally a fridge like this was over $1500. Holds its temp, holds a good number of bottles for us (capacity depends on size of bottle, of course), not too noisy when compressor goes on (though you do hear it). The shelves are nice and sturdy, glide nicely. Quiet. Closes easily, feels sturdy compared to other brands. . Also of note, it can be used standalone or built-in. All in all we are very happy with the retractable shelves that are very nice. Also, it is a very quiet unit. I am really impressed by the temperature accuracy. I measured the temps top, middle and bottom shelves and all were within one degree of the set temperature. It looks very high end for a lower cost! I would recommend to a friend.

I have only had the wine storage unit for a week, but I really like the look of the device. It truly hold 54 bottles and temperature holds at my set point of 55 degrees. The humidity stays a constant 60 percent.

The frig seems to be a good value for the investment. It's good looking and is working well. I will agree with other reviewers that the shelves don't pull out as far as my previous wine cooler and the shelves are a bit flimsy but neither of these issues are a deal breaker for us as our wine cooling needs are very basic.

I ordered this wine refrigerator as a Christmas gift for my son. It was delivered successfully despite a few mishaps with delivery. I contacted Ca'Lefort customer service and they immediately responded to my concerns. The refrigerator fits in a perfect place in their home, holds 33 bottles and keeps them well refrigerated. Everyone is happy and I will order from this company again: nothing less than a quality product and stellar customer service! I highly recommend them!

I've had this for about 20 days now and have not run into any issues. The unboxing was pretty painless and I was able to set it up where I wanted it in about 20 minutes. The only real prep you have to do is take the wrappings off the shelves and install the door handle; all tools are provided and took me about 5 minutes. Despite it's size, it was pretty easy to maneuver it. I'd say this wine fridge falls into 3.5/4 stars. Couple things to know before you pull the trigger on this: Pros: -- Lots of space. Can fit Bordeaux-style bottles and long-neck Riesling bottles. As advertised, this is for 750ml so not really compatible for Magnums and above. -- Beautiful design and very easy to use. There's really no explanation required to operate this. Just set it up, let it stand upright for 24-36 hours per instructions, plug it in and set the desired temp. -- I've done my fair share of research and for this size and build, it is definitely more affordable than most. If you're a collector, this could be very useful for you and not break the bank at the same time...but then again, if you're collecting wine then you'll be expected to spend money. Cons: -- Yes, it is quiet but the low hum is noticeable. It doesn't bother me too much but my last wine fridge basically had no hum. However, the compressor on the previous model kicked in more often so I guess there is that trade off. -- Temperature Control. This is probably the most important and also the main consideration to make when purchasing this fridge. The wines on the top shelf are definitely not the same temperature as the ones on the bottom. Not a huge difference that warrants a return but it is the reason why it's not the best fridge for it's price range. Despite it's advertisement claim that their fridges are design to circulate cold air, you can literally feel the bottom shelf wines and know that the top shelf is not the same temp. If you have some rare and old vintages, maybe store them on the bottom shelf to insure that you're getting the most consistent temp control. -- Shelves are great but something gets caught in the back when you're trying to rerack it. Annoying but not the end of the world...just wish they could've fixed this before market entry. Overall, plan to keep this around and put it to good use. Perhaps, when this one inevitably goes down, I'll just pull the trigger on a Euro Cave or something similar in that category.

The wine cooler arrived quickly (within 7 days) and was extremely well packed. There was no damage to the unit. We received an email from the Ca'Lefort team several days before the unit arrived telling us what to do with it when it came. That was very helpful. We did what they said (have it stabilize for 24-36 hours before turning on) and then plugged it in. They send bottle stacking instructions and it took me one or two tries before I got it but when I did, it worked very well. We love the fact that 54 bottles fit in a 24" wide space. It sits in my husbands office and barely makes a sound. I had a question on warranty and the folks in customer support were very responsive and helpful, they even registered the item for us. So far, so good. We wanted a smallish wine cooler and this fits the bill nicely. Would recommend working with this company.
