It’s rare that I’m as pleased with an item of clothing as I am with the Carhartt Men's Loose Fit Midweight 1889 Graphic Sweatshirt. It is comfortable, warm enough for 40 degree days (at least when I wore a long-sleeved shirt under it while walking), AND it looks sharp. When I’m wearing it, I feel like a “happening” guy, even though I am so very, very not. I am 6’ 2” and 185 pounds (give or take 5 lb), and the Large fits me well, not too tight or too loose. Well, maybe a bit too roomy in the waist area, but that’s a familiar problem for men with athletic, V-shaped physiques. We aren’t proportioned like most guys, apparently, if the sizing of shirts and jackets is any indication. This actually fits me better than most. I like the center pocket/pouch, which I use to both keep my hands warm AND to hold the Kleenex that I have a need for when I am walking on relatively cold days. It just feels right, like it SHOULD be there, even though at first I wasn’t sure what to make of it. From what I’ve read about Carhartt products, they are built to last, which is good because I can see wearing this sweatshirt for many years to come.

The material used is thick and made well. It's very comfortable and I like the style.

This heavyweight hoodie is excellent. The fabric is thick, durable, and very warm. It's significantly heavier than a "fashion" hoodie, clearly designed for the working individual. The fit is true to size, with a bit of extra room, and the color is uniform across the garment. Considering the price, it's an outstanding work hoodie.

Overall it's a nice sweatshirt. Really like the frosted balsam heather color. Good thickness and warmth. Only thing I don't really like is how tight the collar is. Granted I've got a big head. But most shirt collars will stretch a bit and don't pose much of an issue. But this one is super tight and doesn't hardly stretch at all, so it's a bit tough to put on and take off.

With the weather cooling down I needed a sweatshirt to keep me warm at work. This has been my new favorite sweatshirt to wear now and it feels like it'll withstand a lot of wear and tear too.

I'm 6'2" and about 200 lbs. I ordered an XL, like I usually do, and it fits great—just the right amount of room, as you'd expect from Carhartt. If you haven't worn Carhartt before, know that their sizes run large to allow for movement and layering. Stick with your regular size for the best fit. The quality is top-notch. The stitching is flawless with no loose threads in sight. The tag on the sweatshirt says it's a "Rain Defender," but I haven’t had a chance to test that yet. It hasn't rained since I got it, and there's no rain in the forecast either, so I can't speak to that feature right now. What I can say is that this sweatshirt is incredibly warm and roomy. I’d order it again without hesitation. It’s not my first Carhartt, and it definitely won’t be my last. Once again, Carhartt proves they're a cut above the rest.

Simple review it’s cozy warm and heavy duty built. At my local workwear store 115$ cad or 75$ here. Choice is simple. 5/5 far delivery to northern Canada too
