Perfect! I just got this in last night. I have had the pioneer pet fountain that was a ceramic version of their metal one they offer now. I like that this holds a lot of water and has a constant flow to entice my cats to want to drink more water. I think it will be very durable since it is made of stainless steel; this also make a it look really nice. It was really easy unboxing, cleaning and putting together. I also enjoy listening to the sound of the water.

My cats love this water fountain, even my more skittish cat (pictured in review). Seems to encourage them to drink a little more than they usually do. Doesn’t make much noise at all, just a quiet water trickle. Very affordable. Cleaned mine after about 2 weeks and it was so easy to disassemble and clean in the sink. Just make sure to detach the motor first. For my three cats, I think the water lasts roughly 5 days. Love the led window to easily see when they’re running low. Way better for them than drinking still and/or unfiltered water. Give it a try!

I saw an informative ad on instagram that claimed cats who circle their water bowls and/or paw at the water are exhibiting signs of stress around their drinking source. In the wild, cats’ whiskers let them know if a source is relatively safe or dangerous—crowded areas may hold standing water which may be contaminated by decaying animals, and open spaces with running water such as a creek are more safe. (This is also the reason why they say not to place your cat’s water dish near their food dish.) The ad was trying to sell a different product that was highly priced, and because ads are clearly biased to create a problem and then offer you the solution, I was a little bit skeptical but still concerned that if it WERE true, I owe it to my cat to at least try it out and see what happens. My cat is obsessed with this thing. Anecdotally, when we had a ceramic water bowl prior to this, I’d usually observe her drinking once a day/every two days from the time I got home from work til the time I went to bed. Now, I see her drinking 2-3 times per evening. Her fur has become super soft, and the litter box needs changing more frequently. She loves staring at the water in idle moments, and she was drinking from it within a hour of setting it up. Her enjoyment and increased hydration alone makes the purchase worth it, to say nothing of its other many positive qualities. Pleased with the detailed instructions for cleaning and filter changing along with the thoughtfulness to include a cleaning brush. The noise is minimal and pleasant. If you’re on the fence, please purchase and at least try it out for your cat!

Stainless steel, easy setup, nice fountain noise, functions great especially with the motor which doesn't seem to be working overdrive. The blue light at night is just right and is Decent size which both of my cats enjoys

Ever since I installed the spout piece as shown in the product images, my cat has been more hydrated than ever before. She loves it! If you're on the fence about spending a few extra $$$ on this product over a plastic or nameless brand equivalent (as I was), I highly recommend this bowl for its quality and the customer support.

Have gone through several iterations of cat water systems trying to find one that our picky feline would use daily. This one checks all my needs and the cat actually uses it daily so it was money well spent. The thing I love the most is how easy it is to clean and maintain the fountain. The top plate has all the hardware attached to it and so lifting that up and out of the base gives you full access to dissemble the unit and easily clean the pump, filter, fittings, etc. The unit is silent, I cannot hear it running unless I have my ear right down by the fountain. The base holds quite a bit of water, enough I don't have to refill it for a few days. But the big plus is I see our cat actually using it daily so I feel she is getting more hydration then she did before we got this fountain.

It’s a little higher than our previous fountain and I think she likes that. She took right to it. It’s quiet and easy to clean. Because it’s stainless steel and no light exposure there’s no constantly checking for any green forming in the reservoir edges. Very easy to change filters as well.
