This toy has lots of reviews, skeptical about the minimal negative reviews I order this to give it a go. So here are some points. Pros. 1 - Economical, not too pricy. 2 - Small, doesn't take up much room, not small or loose parts for the cat to swallow stuff. 3 -The catnip really lures my cat for it. 4 - Very sturdy, lasted until it got really dirty. 5 - Nice to play with my cat, can keep his short attention span engaged for a decent amount of time, it is his favorite go to toys among others. Cons. 1 - Washing it, is tricky, probably light brush cleaning. I don't recommend soaking and washing as there is catnip.

These are sturdy and last for ages! As the cats play with them, they start leaking out little bits of cat nip. As they get flatter and more beaten up, they stay tough and very playable. I get a new one every few months but keep the old ones because the cats love them so much. We have some that are floppy and almost totally flat after 2 or 3 years, and they still get played with regularly. The cat nip is obviously high quality because they still go nuts lol. Love this product!

This pickle is my cat’s favorite toy ever. He loves to beat it to bits as well as snuggle with it (pictured). It was originally a gift, and he loved it (to shreds) so much that I’ve replaced it for him twice now. They are however well-made and hold up for several months to a year. He loves the crinkling inside, and the weight and size are perfect for him. The netting incorporated on this toy is an additional factor that makes him love to play with it (easy to grab and hold onto with his claws while he “attacks”/bites). The catnip adds some extra fun and stimulation that he definitely appreciates as well. This pickle keeps his interest and provides a satisfaction for him that I haven’t seen with other toys. Would recommend, and will buy again I’m sure!

From the moment I took it out of the package, my cats were instantly drawn to it. The size and shape of the toy are perfect for them to bat around, chew on, and carry in their mouths. The catnip inside is definitely potent. My cats go wild for it, and it keeps them entertained for a good amount of time. They love to wrestle with the toy, kick it with their hind legs, and just lounge around hugging it. It's adorable to watch! The durability of the Dynamite Stick is impressive. Even after several weeks of intense play, it’s still in great shape with minimal wear and tear. This is important because my cats can be pretty rough with their toys. One small downside is that the catnip potency does seem to fade a bit over time, but this is expected with any catnip toy. I just give it a quick rub to release more of the scent, and it’s like new again.

4.5 stars: The cat took to this right away. He'll seek it out at least twice a day and spend time rubbing his face on it, gnawing on it, clawing it with his back feet, and tossing it up in the air and then pouncing when it lands. My only quibble is that I wish it were a little bigger. Apart from that, the cat loves it!

got the little turtle that slides around really good on my carpet. The cat loves slapping it around the living room. It's a well made little toy, and that catnip is good quality.

This is my cat's favorite toy. He isn't exactly a cat, which means his claws are sharper and his fangs longer, so he shredded the first one. The Big Dill is adorable. It's very durable kicker-style toy. Considering the amount of attacks it sees, I think the catnip inside must be super potent. My regular cats like it and they are older (they don't play as much). I ordered a few from an online petstore and came back to amazon to order just one more because you can never, never ever, have too many Big Dills.

My cats love their pickle & dynamite kickers! They love the size, the crinkles, and the catnip buzz! You would think that if they love the pickle, by extension they would love the latest & greatest hot dog. It’s the same company, almost the same size toy, same materials, same stitching font & size, and this one even has a few feathers on top which I thought was so totally cute & one reason I bought this toy! Nope, nein, nada, for interest. I have a total of 6 cats (2 seniors 15+ yrs, 2 adults 4+ yrs, 2 kittens <1 yr) and no interest in playing with this toy (it’s a sniff & nudge out-of-my-way kinda’ toy). The toy itself appears well made until you notice the threads by the seam. As for the catnip, the quality and/or quantity has done nothing to peak the interest of any of my cats. And yes, my cats love catnip & catnip products except for the kittens who are probably still too young to have developed the sensitivity. It saddens me to say this toy falls short of our expectations and I don’t recommend. Others have had success, so its roulette on what you get. Stick with the pickle!
