This product is a great example of a light weight, non-occlusive moisturizer that won’t clog pores or trap excess moisture on your face. I have oily skin so this works well for me. I think it could work well for dry skin too, just may need to apply more or more often.

Very small amount of lotion for the price paid, similar ingredients compared to the more price friendly Cerave Moisturizing cream/lotion, except added niacinamide and a lot lighter texture. Good for oily skin, however, I have their signature Cerave Moisturizing cream as well, which has a very thick texture but it's not oily at all after applying on the face. I think that's why that product has been winning all kinds of awards and most popular. So if you have very oily skin and want a gel-like and very light weight product contains niacinamide, this one is good option, otherwise, you could purchase Niacinamide from the Ordinary for $6, and use together with Cerave Moisturizing cream. That's the most economical way.

I bought this to replace my Kate Somerville Recharging Water Cream which I adored but it just got to expensive. This has been a great substitute. Very reasonably priced and nice to use. The texture is a silky gel that melts into your skin, within a minute there is no residue which is a must for my husband, he is very particular about how products feel on his face. It works great for his sensitive skin and seems to be nearly scent free. In the winter I might go with a couple of applications but otherwise it works great.
