I already owned 2 Eero pro6 devices, but I needed another one to reach my back yard. Luckily I found this refurbished Eero Pro. It was easy super easy to set up on the Eero app took about 5 mins. The app features are good it lets you see which devices are connecting and have zero issues with it. I would purchase another device with confidence. Pros: • Price • Fast shipping • Extends my internet without any connectivity issues • Easy to set up- 5 mins tops • Nice sleek design • Signal and stability is great • App features- You can dim the front light Cons: • The device gets warmer than my other Eero pro 6s. This was solved by purchasing small fans to cool the device.

My bff just moved her camper in my backyard and our comcast wifi wasn’t strong enough for use passed our back patio. I live in SWFL, and needed something that could extend our wifi to her camper through cinder block. Comcast actually recommended the eero PRO bc it can get wifi through concrete. I bought 3 of these refurbished bc Best Buy was sold out of them new. I was nervous but hopeful. The first one plugged directed into my modem router combo, the next one plugged into the wall in the room closest to back of house, and the third plugged into outlet in my bff’s camper. It was incredibly easy to install and worked like a charm. She can now use her phone and laptop, and has enough signal to stream movies. Not only am I impressed with Eero Pro, but also the fact that all 3 refurbished items worked.

I am a technical guy. I have a degree in computer engineering, and I have worked in IT for decades. So... would I recommend Eero? Yes, for non-technical people. Because to set one up, you don't need to know technical details... Provided you're "upgrading" an existing setup. I have a current setup... DSL modem with internal router. I have an additional router for internal network, and this will supplement both (and eventually replace). And install is extremely simple. First, pick one of the "pucks" as your gateway. You will need to connect it to the router via the network cable. And connect the power with the included USB-C mini-powerbrick. Now download the Eero app on your smartphone (presumably, your phone already knew how to talk to your network), and it will do the rest. You can have it take over the existing network (which you can disconnect after it's done), or you can give it a new network name and passphrase, and voila, another network. Then setting up the new mesh node is as simple as walk to where you want it, make sure there's power, plug in the other node and run the Eero setup again. It will know you have an existing network and connect the new node to it, extending the network. Any internal updates, verifying speed, etc. are all handled automatically in the app. The first attempt (getting the gateway node) did take a little while to get working. Somehow it keeps timing out, but a couple re-attempts and it worked just fine. It's not really any faster, but it seems to provide better Wifi coverage around the two-stories in my place. Finding the technical details, like IP address, subnet, and stuff, requires digging through the Eero app. So technical people may be a little frustrated. But there is also a lot of power in the app, like assigning profiles to people / machines to track their internet usage, and start filtering them (parental controls, et al). If you really need it, you can get VPN service for extra cost, as well as other powers through Eero Plus subscription. This is not the latest model, but but the older 802.11ac model, and it works fine. If you want the Wifi 6 or 6E you'll need to pay more. But it'd work about the same (albeit, quite a bit faster). Overall, Eero is a mesh wifi system for non-technical people who really likes the Amazon ecosystem. It will want to integrate with your Amazon login, and that may turn off some people. If you don't mind that, it is very simple to setup and get working, and can be customized. Getting them refurbed means you get them at a lower cost, which, if you don't need the latest and greatest, is just fine.

The routers were easy to install and work well in a mesh system. You can keep adding units until you cover your whole property. The speed and signal strength are just what we needed.

I have a single story ranch style home that has ethernet prewired throughout. The problem is the ethernet junction box is in a closet in the back of the house which is behind a stone fireplace. This of course is not ideal for Wi-Fi range. I’ve tried repeaters and extenders of all sorts with some success but the signal at the front of the house where my ring devices are was never very good. Enter the Eero mesh router! What an extraordinary difference. I can now have video conference calls at the end of my driveway if I so pleased. My setup is very simple. I have three of these. One in the bunker aka closet, one in the kitchen (middle of the house), and one in the study (front of the house). I run the ethernet from the modem into the Eero and from the Eero into an ethernet switch. I then simply hardwire the other two Eeros. Setting these up is extremely easy. The signal is strong, fast, and reliable. I average 500 – 600 Mbps up and down on my phone throughout the house. I highly recommend this product to anyone struggling with Wi-Fi range and stability.

Nice unit and easy to setup , only trouble is I have to set it up almost on a daily basis since the day I got it. It losses all setup data and turns to a blue or red light each time. I like the coverage of this unit when it works but guess I will have to go back to my old system. At least it was reliable.

To extend your network. Look brand new and work as well as the new ones I purchased. Needed to nudge the speed up on my wife's computer in her bedroom and this worked well at a reasonable price.
