I've been using contour pillows for my neck pain for years, but decided to try this as I tend to start out on my back, then turn to my side right before I go to sleep. I also toss and turn a lot when falling asleep or just waking. This Coop pillow is definitely an improvement in the cooling department over my previous pillows. None of the cooling contour pillows I've tried come close. Though they are a solid piece design. This pillow isn't as supportive as a contour pillow for your neck when on your back, but the adjustability, cooling, and cutout for your shoulders makes it more comfortable overall. The crescent cutout on the King size fits my shoulders perfectly so the pillow isn't bunched up against me when I'm on my back. And when side sleeping, this thing is miles ahead. I also love that they include extra stuffing so you can add or remove to suit you loft/firmness preference. I'd definitely recommend this pillow. I just wish there were more options for pillow cases. I got their cooling one, and it's great, but doesn't match the rest of my bedding/decor. No weird off-gassing smell that I could notice either. I was going to give 4 stars due to the lack of pillow case options, but I feel the pillow is too good and it would be a disservice if I took off a star.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with the Coop Home Goods Eden Pillow, but after a few weeks of using it, I’m genuinely impressed. Finding a good pillow has always been a struggle—too flat, too puffy, too hot—but this one finally hits the sweet spot. What I love most is that you can adjust the filling to make it work for you. I’m a side sleeper, and I like a bit of height and support, so I added some of the extra filling they include. It did take a couple of nights to figure out the right amount, but once I got it dialed in, it felt perfect. My partner is more of a back sleeper, and they preferred taking some fill out—so it’s great for different preferences. The texture of the pillow is nice, too. It’s soft but doesn’t feel flimsy, and it kind of molds to your head in a way that’s supportive without being too stiff. One thing I noticed right away is that it doesn’t trap heat like some other pillows I’ve tried, which is a huge plus for me since I tend to sleep warm. What really sold me, though, is how much better my neck feels in the morning. No more waking up with that annoying stiffness or feeling like I need to crack my neck. I didn’t realize how much a good pillow could make a difference until now. If I had to find something to critique, I’d say it’s not an “out of the box and done” kind of pillow. You’ll need to spend a little time adjusting it, but once you do, it’s totally worth it. Overall, I feel like this pillow was actually designed with real people in mind. It’s not flashy or gimmicky—it just works. Definitely worth trying if you’ve been frustrated with your current pillow situation.

Growing up I had the most comfortable pillow. It got damaged when my apartment flooded and since then I have struggled to find a pillow that didn’t make me hurt. Until this one. This thing is soft but so dang supportive. I wake up with no pain and my head is cradled all night. I can sleep on my side or my back (I’m not a stomach sleeper so I can’t attest to this), and it’s like it knows where it adjust at to make sure I don’t wake up with a neck ache or any kinks. It comes with a bag of extra fluff just in case you want more fill. I used about half of it for myself. I strangle my pillows at night, twist them, like they are abused. Every morning I have to shake them back into their pillowcases. Not this pillow. I haven’t had to put the case back one even once. 10/10 recommend. It is worth every penny. Once you go coop, you never go back.

I was in the market for a new pillow a tried a few (including purple). I have neck problems and so l say I’m picky. Everything I tried needed an adjustment to be the perfect pillow. With COOP I can control the amount of internal fluff, which can be perfected to anyone’s personal height and firmness specifications. The foam is pretty luxurious feeling. There was no odd smells when I handled the foam. I love pillows that I can sink into and the foam allows for that while still providing support. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because it is a bit pricey, and I think it should come with a storage bag for the bonus fluff at least for that price. I had to use a ziploc for mine.

Like others have mentioned, it may need a time or two of adding/removing stuffing before you get it just right. Do as the instructions state and let your pillow expand and air out for 1 full day. At first my pillow kept slipping out of my cotton pillow cases that came with my stand sheet set, and so I got another cotton zipping case (liner?) to go between the pillow and my regular pillow case, and it no longer slips out. I know the pillow is good because it feels nice when I'm awake, and I do not rouse throughout the night to flip my pillow around like I used to, and therefore sleep more soundly. It's expensive, but cannot put a price on a thorough night's sleep.

I had a gel lined cooling pillow before this that did an excellent job with being cool to the touch and remaining cool throughout the night. Unfortunately, the gel pad burst recently and they no longer make that brand of pillow, so I was in the market for a new pillow. After reading a number of reviews I opted to go with this one. So far I've been very happy with the overall comfort of the pillow. The x-shaped fill does have the tendency to move and mound away from where your head lays, but the pillow does come with a bag of additional fill which allows you to pick the perfect firmness for you. The pillow is certainly less "cool to the touch" than my previous pillow, but I will say that I haven't had any issues with the pillow getting too warm either. I'm interested to try it with a different pillow case soon, to see how much of a difference that makes. Overall, I've been pleased with the pillow, even if I'm not as happy with it as my old pillow.

Estoy encantado con The New Eden Pillow, tamaño King Size. Sin duda, es la mejor almohada que he probado en toda mi vida. Es el tipo de almohada que uno siempre busca después de haberla usado en algún lugar, pero nunca logra encontrar ni en Costco ni en ningún otro lado... hasta ahora. La calidad es impresionante: los materiales son de primera, se siente fresca, y la comodidad es insuperable. Yo duermo de lado, pero también a veces boca arriba, y en cualquier posición la cabeza se acomoda de forma perfecta. Es como si estuviera diseñada específicamente para garantizar un sueño reparador. Lo único doloroso es el precio, sí, es cara, pero creo que vale cada centavo. Compré una y, en cuanto pueda, voy por otra para completar el par. Definitivamente, una inversión que recomiendo si lo que buscas es un descanso excepcional.

I’m very picky about pillows. Here are my criteria: 1. It needs to be soft on the outside. I’m prone to ear/jaw pressure pain, and depending on the night, firm pillows can feel like I’m sleeping on a brick. So it has to fall just within that softness threshold. 2. At the same time it as to be supportive at the core, and have a bit of bounce to it, and not sink all the way into the mattress. 3. I sleep hot, so it has to be breathable. 4. It needs to be configurable enough to have a high-enough loft in case I want to sleep on my side, but can squish down if I want to roll over onto my stomach or back — because on top of all my other challenges, I sleep in all 3 positions equally! My old down alternative pillow which I had for 15 years, ticked all of those boxes. I don’t even remember where I bought it or what the brand was, but then one day my spouse decided to wash it, and it turned into a lumpy sack of marbles! The tag was completely worn away so I couldn’t even find the make; I suffered with that thing for another year before I started questing for a replacement, and I was surprised how challenging that was. I tried several but nothing came close, and meanwhile I was waking up with headaches most mornings, the side of my head just felt squashed and raw, and I was just not getting enough sleep. It was torture. Finally it came down to the Coop Eden, or the Purple Harmony. Both tick almost all the boxes, but each has a drawback — the Purple Harmony’s rubber grid material can be rough on sensitive ears, but it’s very cool; whereas the Eden has enough give to spare the side of my head, but can get warm despite what the product description says about cooling gel. Ultimate I went with the latter, because there’s a workaround for its one drawback: Coop sells a very effective cooling pillowcase, the combination of which is almost perfect. It feels immediately cool, and while it won’t keep the spot you’re lying on cool forever, it does magically prevent it from getting excessively warm. Moreover if you move away from the spot, it will cool down again very quickly — meaning that you can just move to cooler spots on the pillow every few mins until you fall asleep and no longer care, and not wake up in a sweat! I’ve only had it for a couple days, but there’s no adjustment period. I knew the moment I tried it I’d finally found a replacement for my old perfect pillow. For the first time in ages, I had a really great sleep and didn’t wake up with a neck/head ache. This thing’s a game changer, especially if you’re a difficult customer like myself. One other thing to note: Reviewers have reported a chemical smell, and mine had a bit of that even after putting it through the drier as instructed, but weirdly, it smells almost like chocolate! Maybe it would have been worse had I not tumble dried it first, but I actually kind of don’t mind it! And my wife independently verified the chocolate scent as well when I asked her what she thought it smelled like. I suspect it will fade over the next few days, but at least in the meantime I’m having sweet dreams!

I’m a hot sleeper (I would sweat and wake up with my ears full of sweat, it was that bad) and I sleep on my stomach and needed a pillow that isn’t soft but not rock solid and I looked for the perfect pillow for years and I came across this one. At first, I thought it would be over priced and I would regret it, I spent months researching and decided to go for it and bought additional filling. When I tell you I haven’t sweat once or felt hot once in the 4 months I bought this pillow, it’s the perfect balance of firm and soft. This is the perfect pillow and because you can remove and add filling it truly can be your perfect pillow. Buy it, you will not regret it.

Seriously, it was one of those things that surprise you. At first, I thought this Eden pillow so soft, it's gonna kill my neck. Turns out, it is not only good for my neck but my overall sleep improved. If you are an Apple watch user and track your sleep, you could compare. Before sleeping with this Eden pillow, I got like 5 hours+ sleep a night and my deep sleep is only like 30 minutes. I wake up often and felt pain because of the firm memory foam pillow supposed to be good for my neck pain. I jumped the gun and got this pillow. After I sleep with this Eden pillow, my deep sleep is always between 50 mintues to more than 1 hour in a total of 5 hours+ sleep. I am extremely satisfied and will recommend to anyone. You gotta try it!
