This wood filament has proven to be a remarkable addition to my printing materials. After testing it extensively over the past month, I've found it produces prints with a genuinely convincing wood-like appearance and texture. The natural variations in the surface finish create an authentic wood grain effect that's particularly noticeable on larger prints. I've used it to create several decorative pieces for my home, including a set of customized picture frames that guests often mistake for actual wooden crafts. The filament flows consistently and maintains good layer adhesion, though I did spend some time finding the optimal temperature range for my printer. What's particularly impressive is how well it responds to post-processing - light sanding really brings out the wood-like qualities and makes the final pieces even more convincing. The material is notably stronger than standard PLA, which has made it excellent for functional prints that need to withstand regular use. I appreciate that it doesn't require any special hardware modifications - it prints reliably with a standard 0.4mm nozzle. The Creality Dry Box 2.0 is a upgraded version with better features. It is designed to take the moisture out of your filament so that it can perform its best on 3D print jobs. You can adjust the temperature to fit the filament type as well as how long you want to run the dryer up to a max of 24 hrs. The instruction sheet provides recommended temperature and drying times for different types of filament material. It also has an active readout of the current humidity percentage. 15% is the goal of the dry box. A recent reviewer left a poor rating and pointed out a few "issues". Its obvious the reviewer never purchased the unit and doesn't know how it operates and is just commenting off the seat of his pants on what he sees in the listing. The dry box circulates hot air into and out of the box. The moisture content will rise if the box is turned off and left unattended. But the expectation would be that once you've dried up the filament, you will place it into a vacuum sealed bag. There should be no expectation to run the dry box indefinitely to keep the filament dry, although that is feasible if you so choose. You would need to monitor throughout the day since it will auto shut off after the timer is done. To address the feeder hole "issue", you should attach the dry box directly to the feed of the 3D printer with PTFE Teflon tubing you can purchase on amazon. I've attached a few pics on how i accomplished this. It is pretty important to add this minor feature and you do not need to modify the current hole from the Dry box as its dimensions fit perfectly. The box is then in direct feed into the 3D printer and the filament rides effortlessly out of the box without any risk of kinking. I always run the dry box while I'm doing my print jobs. It heats the filament up to 50 degrees for PLA and maintains the very low moisture content necessary for good precise prints. It can achieve 15% within 10 minutes or less. I set the timer to as long as it takes for the job to complete, up to a maximum of 24 hrs. If your print job will take more than 24 hrs, then you will need to do some monitoring and reset the dry box drying time. I have left filament out in open air for a few days, not thinking it would matter. But the extrusion is very shaky and extrusion lines end up skipping sporadically with moist filament. I would never run my Creality K1 printers without running the dry box. In my opinion, its essential to good prints and to avoid wasting filament on poor print jobs. There are other dry boxes around, but i personally feel, if you have a Creality 3D printer, match it up with its little dry box brother. You won't regret.

This filament dryer has made a huge difference in my 3D printing projects. I used to struggle with moisture messing up my prints, but this keeps the filament dry and my prints come out smooth and consistent every time. It’s easy to use, and the touch screen makes setting it up super simple. I also like that it works with all kinds of filaments and has a timer so I can just set it and forget it. The fact that it remembers my settings after a power outage is a nice bonus. If you’re into 3D printing and want better results, this is definitely worth getting!

As an engineer, there is always room for improvement 😉 but this filament dryer pays for it self. Had issues with new and sealed PA12-CF warping and breaking free from the plate, 3 hours in the dryer and without changing any setting the prints where finally working as they should. PRO: It works as it should and efficiently. Compact design Low noise Touch screen looks good Pre set materials Custom settings The product has a great look Included hose to printer option CONS: 1. Touch screen sensitivity,( but figure out just leave you finger on it for a split second longer and it works great) 2. The door feels loose, no real seal, everytime I move the unit I accidentally grabbed the door too and feel like I'm about to break it 3. Timer can only be set by hour (i could be wrong) WHAT I CHANCE: 1. Automatic fillament roller, should spin the fillament slowly at least one rotation every hour. While the fan does a great job, there hot and cold spots and moisture spots. 2. Stiffer door, or locking mechanism or better seal on the door or handles to grab the unit so you don't break the door moving 3. Alarm for when it's done would be nice. 4. Touch screen that work like most screens instead of having to hold a tab bit longer.. Regardless I buy it again, and these changes would only making me won't to buy more and breaking willing to spend more for it.

Le filament 3D flexible que j'ai récemment essayé a offert des résultats très fiables et esthétiques. Les impressions sont d'une qualité remarquable, avec des finitions lisses et détaillées, ce qui a vraiment mis en valeur mes projets. La consistance du filament permet une extrusion régulière et sans problèmes, et il adhère bien au plateau d'impression, réduisant les risques de décollement. Cependant, je dois dire que le niveau de flexibilité n'a pas entièrement répondu à mes attentes. Bien que le filament soit légèrement flexible, il n'est pas assez souple pour certains des projets spécifiques que j'avais en tête. Pour des objets nécessitant une plus grande élasticité, ce filament pourrait ne pas être la meilleure option. Globalement, c'est un bon filament pour ceux qui recherchent une certaine flexibilité tout en maintenant une excellente qualité d'impression. Je le recommande pour des applications où une flexibilité modérée est suffisante, mais pour des besoins de grande souplesse, il pourrait être intéressant de considérer d'autres options.
