This crockpot works really well. I've waited several uses before writing a review. It is easy to use and cooks as expected. One thing to note, the outside gets really hot. So, be careful handling.

This slow cooker has significantly simplified my cooking process, and the results are consistently superior compared to using the oven. I prepare a variety of dishes, including beef barley soup, chicken soup, roasts, and many others. Having this slow cooker has encouraged me to experiment with new recipes that I had never attempted before, enriching my culinary experience. Additionally, I find that food waste is minimized, as the slow cooker produces meals that typically leave minimal leftovers. The roast beef becomes so tender that it can be easily shredded with a fork. The slow cooker is incredibly user-friendly. You can set it to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, depending on the recipe. Once the cooking time is complete, it automatically switches to a "warm" setting. The lid is designed to lock securely, making it easy to transport without spills.

I love the digital timer on this crockpot. It makes it so easy to see and this brand is incredibly easy to operate. The cooking times was perfect. Cleanup was easy and I love the locking lid because so often I need to bring something to I get together And this just gives me a lot more confidence about traveling with it.

My old one stopped working after more than 15 years. I wanted to stay with the brand that had been so reliable. Have used it couple of times and it is so good. I love the automatic timer shut off to warm. Food was cooked well. Highly recommend.

She likes most things bout it as this one has more features the warranty is just so so with a year warranty. Her old crockpot finally conked out it was a Hamilton Beach and only had three settings low, medium, and high. This Crockpot is nice for travel and has a timer it also stays warm after the timer has run out. The complaint she has is High isn't as hot as her old crockpot so roast take more time to cook. I think it is a decent crockpot, but like most things, the quality goes down as it is predetermined to fail so the company can make more on selling you another instead of like the old days where you bought one and it lasted 20 years. If these companies were truly green they would make them last as I bet there are a lot more of these in the landfills than there used to be.

UPDATE: Feb. 17, 2015. I have used this Crock-Pot a dozen times since writing my review ... and it gets better and better! I've made casseroles, breakfast dishes, beans, roast, ribs, Mexican food dishes - all just great (including the chicken/rice recipe with the rice cooked in the Crock-Pot)! The stoneware liner is easy to clean and food is NOT sticking to the sides or bottom. Warmer feature is super and it does not appear to be too hot. I found that when a cooking time range is given, such as 6-8 hours, I should probably go with the low or middle part of the range. For someone who actually HATES to cook, I'm becoming a regular Betty Crocker, and even experimenting, because cooking is SO easy with this appliance. I'm SO glad I made this purchase! Now ... back to your regular programming with the original review ... ---------------- I have an old Crock-Pot and it still works, but is too small for a roast, etc. So I got this one for two reasons: 1) bigger, 2) can program the time and temperature setting. I've only used it twice and, at this point, I am extremely satisfied. Should things change, I most definitely will update. The programmable feature is really nice because you can set the cooking temperature on LOW or HIGH and set the cooking time in 30-minute increments all the way up to 20 hours. Some other "programmable" slow cookers have a few time/temp combination options but they are quite limited - this one gives you total control. Once the programmed cooking time is finished, the Crock-Pot automatically turns to "warm." The controls are touch (instead of turn dials) and very user-friendly. The user manual is small, but complete, and includes a couple recipes. My first dish: Breakfast Casserole (photo attached). Very tasty and the Crock-Pot worked perfectly. There was some extra browning around the edges so I probably need to adjust the cook time a bit ... and you'll have to do that with any slow cooker. Second dish: Hot Sausage Stew. Again, the appliance worked perfectly and the "warm" feature is great because the food finished cooking before I was ready to eat. Keep in mind: you may consider the "warm" temp to be hotter than you expect but that's because of government regulations, not the Crock-Pot. This Crock-Pot holds a LOT of food! I'm cooking for just me so I put some in the fridge and the rest in smaller containers in the freezer. And since I truly hate to cook, this is the best way to keep me out of the kitchen but still have good food to eat. The food I prepared didn't stick to the stoneware and it was super easy to clean. Just hot, soapy water and rinse. You can also put the stoneware and the glass lid in the dishwasher. I will probably never use the "carry" function but I did try the locked lid and the rubber seal is tight and should make it easy to take your dish to the potluck, etc. Just don't lock the lid while you're cooking! Bottom line: the ability to truly program the cooking time/temp ... and the "warm" function ... make this my top kitchen appliance (right along side my George Foreman grill). I'm actually looking for slow cooker recipes to try - and I can't believe I'm doing that! My old Crock-Pot is at least 15 years old and that's why I chose this brand. Because of the "computer" that allows the programming, I know the chances of it lasting that long are probably slim because the fancier you get, the more chances you have of something going wrong. But the price is right and, so far, I'm very happy with my purchase. Amazon shipping was fast and the slow cooker was packed in its original box with plenty of protection.

Used for the first time tonight. Was easy to use and my pulled pork turned out perfectly. Loved how it counts down the time and switches to warm when the time is up.

I had ordered this product on Amazon. It was after I received the delivery of this product that I realised that this is a product manufactured for use in the United States of America and Canada. This is a high wattage appliance that runs on the 120 V 60 cycles supply. The manufacturers do not provide clear instructions or information on the power rating of this appliance. When contacted via their website, they were categorical that using the device outside of the USA and Canada post is a safety hazard and a strictly not recommended. Cart2India has declined to accept the product as a return , claiming that the product was delivered as promised. One wonders why a trusted brand like Amazon puts up, for sale , on it's portals, an appliance that is not designed for safe usage in India

Used it many times after getting it. Works great. The only thing I’m concerned about is the seal around the cover. It looks thin. Hopefully it will last.

Very very disappointed ...the second time I used this the ceramic dish developed cracks. Had read this in another review but with a 'name' n reputation like 'Crockpot' certainly did not expect this. Rather an expensive lesson. Now desperately trying to redeem situation by getting replacement ceramic dish which the company carries but not getting on Amazon...PLS HELP AMAZON
