I bought this CrockPot a good 3-4 wks ago and did not want to write a review until I used it a few times. I've used it 3 times, and I am still AMAZED how incredible this thing works. I love how easy it is to cook, to clean, how wonderful my food tastes, and most of all... what the price was!!! This crock was well worth what I paid for, and I have had NO sort of problem with anything. I have seen some say the bowl moves a little in the pot holder part.. which is true, but it does NOT drastically move all around the place, just BARELY. Which to me is honestly no problem, as long as the crock delivers what I expect.. which it completely DOES! It cooks great meals, is hassle free of clean up (I can put it in the dishwasher, wonderful!), has a timer (& auto changes to warm after timer goes off), and has a top that can lock so you can take it with you! Pure greatness in my opinion! Now when I bought this I was a first time crockpotter. I was worried I might over cook things, or that the "high" temp setting on this would be TOO high. It in fact is NOT. The only thing I would say is a bummer, but not a problem in my book, is that it takes forever to cool off after I've completely turned it off. That is sort of a given though, being it is glass. Let me tell you in advance, the "warm" setting on this Crock is a little bit too hot in my perspective.. so if you want to play it safe for a certain something, I would turn the crock off once done cooking, or as soon as you get home. Over all, I absolutely ADORE this Crock, and I am very pleased with my purchase. I hope to have this for years down the road Update as of Feb 2019- 7 years later and this baby still works like a charm, and hasn't lost ANY of it's great features! Still making delicious meals!

Only used it once so far, but I think I love it, especially the locking lid, making it portable. Good purchase.

Does everything you would want an older crockpot to do, but adds some extra quality of life with the latched lid and stronger handles. Extremely easy to clean and has yet to disappoint at any gathering or comfy night-in.

So, the crock pot has two settings: high and low (warm). Just note that as several people have mentioned, even the low setting is pretty hot. How many of you have recipes that require you to cook the food in your crock pot on high for like 2 hours, and then turn the heat to low, and cook for an additional 4 - 6 hours? The switchover from high to low is completely manual. The feature I would love? For the crock pot to program cooking on high for 2 hours, and then automatically switching over to low for the remaining cook time! As it is now, it will cook on high, OR low, until the predetermined amount of cook time you set has been reached. A minor complaint really. The price was right, it has basic, decently working features, cooks well, and I really like the locking lid for transporting the crock pot of food around. It's just that I wish I could go out for most of the day, and have my food completely cooked, instead of having to turn it back on to the low setting, and waiting several more hours to eat. I'd recommend it, though.

I had a manual 2.5qt Crock-Pot that I've been using for about 3 months prior to making this purchase. I love it as my first slow cooker, but when looking up recipes I quickly learned that not all mention the size needed for ingredients. So my first attempt at beef stew left out some of the veggies due to lack of space. Def a learning experience! I received my 6qt programmable without any shipping issues. It had good protection over the original box and even delivered same day as ordered on Amazon! I have seen reviews from others on Amazon that this unit gets hot so I wanted to see the difference for myself. The outside of this unit doesn't feel as hot to the touch as my 2.5 qt manual by Crock-Pot however looking inside with a liner, you can def see it bubbling up from the heat. So I will say that going from cooking to warm, your meals will still be piping hot and ready to go. Programming was as simple as can be, and when the timer was finished it swapped over to warming without any audible beep. That's a positive for me! It's only been 24 hours with my purchase, but I am over the moon! If any other issues arise over time I will update. 5/5 Would recommend for those looking to upgrade from a smaller unit. Great pricing, Easy to use, and a company that's dependable.

Me and my girlfriend have had several meals from this, following a variety of Crock-Pot recipes. All are delicious, works very well. Super easy to use. Girlfriend loves it. I love it. Awesome to have your dinner cook for you while your both away from home at work. 10/10.

Used it many times after getting it. Works great. The only thing I’m concerned about is the seal around the cover. It looks thin. Hopefully it will last.

I had ordered this product on Amazon. It was after I received the delivery of this product that I realised that this is a product manufactured for use in the United States of America and Canada. This is a high wattage appliance that runs on the 120 V 60 cycles supply. The manufacturers do not provide clear instructions or information on the power rating of this appliance. When contacted via their website, they were categorical that using the device outside of the USA and Canada post is a safety hazard and a strictly not recommended. Cart2India has declined to accept the product as a return , claiming that the product was delivered as promised. One wonders why a trusted brand like Amazon puts up, for sale , on it's portals, an appliance that is not designed for safe usage in India
