The Cumbor 29.7-46" Baby Gate has been a total game-changer for our home! We needed something that would keep our baby safe from stairs and limit our dog’s access to certain areas, and this gate has exceeded our expectations. The auto-close feature is fantastic! It securely shuts behind you, which ensures that the gate is always locked and safe—no worrying about forgetting to close it. It’s especially great for preventing the dog from wandering into areas where we don’t want him to go. Installation was super easy, especially since it’s pressure-mounted, which means no drilling or damage to the walls. We had it set up in just a few minutes! The wide walk-through design is so convenient when we need to move in and out of rooms without constantly removing the gate. It’s incredibly sturdy, and we’ve noticed that even our larger dog can’t push it open. The white finish blends well with our home decor, and it looks great in any room. Overall, the Cumbor Baby Gate is a high-quality, reliable safety solution for both babies and pets. It’s durable, easy to use, and perfectly designed for everyday convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a secure, easy-to-install gate for their home!

This is the best child gate I have ever had. It has a brace on the floor connecting the two sides that makes it very sturdy. The gate automatically swings shut unless you open it all the way on one side. Good height too. Very pleased with this. I have an in home preschool and needed something to keep inquisitive 3 year olds out of my personal space.

If you are wondering if you should buy this gate because you’ve had bad luck with gates in the past this is the gate that you’ll love! I bought it because when I watch my sister’s dog I have to keep him separated from my dog. It’s easy to put up and take down because of the option to mount it with pressure rather than permanently if you want. The gate part works flawlessly as it swings shut on its own and the adjustments are super simple to make sure it shuts and latches properly. Just follow the simple instructions and you’ll have it up within 20 minutes. It hinges both ways and also stays open if you swing it at a 90 degree angle. The design of this gate is amazing and I will definitely be buying another one this summer to replace the one on my porch that is a pain to use!

This gate is very well made & secure. The assembly was straightforward & clear. We had bought a cheaper gate from Home Depot, and it was not as sturdy, and our dog kept knocking it over. This one works very well.

Play Video Sturdy, great finish and quality. The door operates very smoothly. It was tricky to figure out to remove a security wire before opening the door but I realized you need to do it after it’s fully installed. I still don’t know why but that’s fine. I will buy a second one. The gap for a kitty worked perfectly.

Excellent product and easy to install. It was installed at the top of the stairs to prevent children from going down because of the danger. The stairs are strong and have automatic closing control. It opens inward and outward. It is worth this price.

Play Video Once we got the measurements and read the first page or two of the instruction manual, we had no problem installing the gate. It was super easy, easier than I even anticipated. Just want to stress the importance of not messing with the tightening once you’ve cut the red zip tie that has a sign that says do not cut until after install. It messes with the way the gate shuts. Make sure it’s secure, cut the red zip tie and don’t mess with it. It works beautifully. I’m so happy with it. Easily worth the money. We’re getting at least 3 more because we have 3 levels of our home and 2 sets of stairs so we’ll have a total of 4 gates. We simply used the pressure based install rather than the screws because our home is newly renovated and we don’t want to mess up the walls and the brand new banisters. It’s insane how sturdy this baby gate is. I’m thoroughly impressed and I absolutely love how nice it looks. 10 out of 10 recommend. UPDATE::: This update has everything to do with having to remove the gate and then reinstall it. I genuinely believed once you install the gate (using the pressure mounts only) that it absolutely could not be removed and reinstalled. Boy was I wrong. Yes, the initial instructions say not to cut the big red zip tie until you’ve finished the installation, but it’s not as scary as they make it seem. You can literally remove this gate however many times you need to and then reinstall it just fine. The one thing you will need, however, is heavy duty zip ties (or multiple regular but elongated zip ties). Which we had because we had been in the process of moving . Because we moved into our newly renovated home very recently from a super tiny 2 bedroom apartment, we had to buy a lot of new furniture. I was concerned about the fact that we wouldn’t be able to reinstall the baby gates if we had to remove them and we were fully prepared to just chuck these in that case and buy 2 new gates. I mean, what the heck are you supposed to do with a toddler running around? Just not put in a gate because it’s gonna get in the way 3 weeks later when the furniture is delivered??? Of course not. What happens when you remove the pressure from the pressure mounts is that the door part of the gate basically separates and your first instinct is to panic. Which is exactly what I did. But fear not, for I have the answer! You’re absolutely going to need to use some brute force and some sort of zip tie, be it heavy duty or just basic, but what you need with the zip tie is to simply “scrunch” it to the point you can get the gate back into the place you had it installed initially. For us, we had them at the top and bottom of our staircase. As long as it fits, all you have to do is reinstall it like you did the first time. And I did this for the bottom and top of our staircase. Once you get the gate to fit through the space you needed it to fit into, you just keep spinning the little black piece around the screw on both sides and both top and bottom until it’s back into place and BAM it works just like it did before. Because of this, I am an even bigger fan of these gates. They look amazing they function perfectly and you can remove them over and over if necessary. Freaking awesome. Again, this is only for the pressure mount option. I have no idea if this works for the permanent screw mount.

What I liked: 1. Very easy to install as a pressure gate (5-10 minutes, including getting it out of the box) 2. Fit easily in both a doorway and on the stairs with a round banister on one side 2. Very sturdy and well constructed (NOT flimsy!) 3. Swings both ways 4. Shuts automatically unless pushed open more than 90 degrees 5. My husband can open and close it without frustration or tripping What I didn't like: The price, BUT once I had it installed, I understood the value
