I feel like this is more sturdy than the curtain rods that are 2-piece and can extend by twist and locking. This set has 9 very rigid pieces that easily screw jnto each other. You and then there is one piece that can extend by twisting so you can make it exactly the correct size you need. Also it looks very modern. The brackets to attach to the wall are standard, so easy to use. The curtain also doesn't snag on the rod at all.

This curtain rod is the first one I ever saw that screws together multiple, about a footlong pieces to make up the rod to the desired length. I am not sure I prefer that over a rod that has 2 larger pieces that adjust. Anyway, I decided to keep this rod because it is only for a guest room and the curtains will completely cover the rod, so all those connections where the footlong pieces meet are not visible. The color (I bought white) is nice and bright and the rod seems solid. I like the modern looking, somewhat plain end caps.

Got two sets of these curtain rods for my bedroom and living room. I’ve only gotten to install the bedroom rod so far as I’m waiting for my living room curtains to come in. Installation was super easy and the rod (and curtains) look great. I like that the mounting brackets for the rod come in two pieces which makes it easy to first drill the bracket into the wall and then attach the hooks that hold the rod. The extension rods are a clever design and makes it really customizable to get the length you need. For my living room, one complete set wasn’t long enough to span my windows and balcony doors, however I didn’t need all of the extension rods in my bedroom, so I was able to take a few of those to use in the living room and still had a couple left over. Overall, this was a great purchase and I’m super happy with the look and the design.
